I recently came across some early TV appearances by Markie Post, long before
she became a household name on Night Court. I thought I'd talk about
them here.

I saw Ms. Post in a first season episode of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. It was standard TV Buck Rogers fare—nothing terribly imaginative, but kinda fun if you don't think too hard about it. She was dressed in this horrible "futuristic" style that doesn't seem to make much sense, and which I rather doubt will ever become popular. (That was one problem with this series, BTW. It tried too hard to make things look futuristic, and it strained credibility in the process. I doubt that many remembered her from this episode at the time, but of course, she's much more recognizable in hindsight. |

Much later on, she appeared as a former love interest of Templeton "Faceman" Peck on The A-Team . She was also a nun. Ugh. She did a wonderful job of playing this role though—giving it just enough pathos without going overboard. A terrific choice, she was. |
