As all Thumpers have been withdrawn off the mainline, Thumpergroup is getting actively involved in helping the continued preservation of these fine units. Thumpergroup have just completed their first visit to the Hastings Diesels Limited facility at St Leonards in June 2005, hopefully these will be repeated in the near future. Thumpergroup will also look at other ways of helping thumper preservation societies with the use of the units. Join Thumpergroup for details as they happen!
