August 2006- April 2007

Some confusion has been created due to the fact that I didn't confirm back in August of 2006 that the final update was completed and therefore Riverside became available. Only reasons why I did not confirm is because the July 18, 2006 update was the final update for Riverside V.2. From then on the Riverside Neighborhood has become available, and is ready for download directly through the downloads page. So to clear everything up, My Riverside Restoration and Recuperation project  is now available and downloadable free of charge here.

Currently I am working on finishing the home for the blonde twins from the early previews, the Brookes, and setting up their story. I also decided on a few more names.Now officially Lila, the girl from the early previews with the purple highlights who is hosting the party. Her father Ralph, her mother Margaret, and her two young siblings, Trinity and Lawrence. Their official last name is Marshall. Here are a few pics of their home.

I have officially released two new names.
The last name Anderson was officially given to Marty and Bernie! I thought long and hard on a list of last names ranging from Lawrence to Maxis, but finally decided on Anderson. Also here I have posted a couple of pics of Marty and Bernie's home along with their roomates Lisa and Jennnifer. Another name I decided was the name Brooke as the official last name for the blonde twins from the early previews. I also decided on the names Mellisa as the official name for the shy twin and Danielle as the official name for the popular twin. I have been debating myself weather to choose Lila as the name for the teenage girl with the black hair and the "purple" highlights from the party previews. More news coming tommorow!

Well it has been another hard day working on this update for Riverside, but it is really coming along. Tommorrow I will be posting pictures of the families and their homes. So far I have the Baxter home and the Marty and Bernie home. I am pretty close to finishing the twins home.
I have yet to release official names for some of the families. The one I am having the hardest time coming up with is the last name for Marty and Bernie, but I promise they will all have very good and appropriate names. More news coming tommorow!

 

RIVERSIDE UPDATE COMING SOON!

Since my Riverside project became such as huge success, I will be making an update soon. I have been working on this update for the past week and am close to finishing it. This means more lost families and lots will be brought back even ones not featured in the original Riverside official pictures. Some of the families to come will be the Baxters from Tim Letourneau's video and Marty and Bernie from the very first The Sims 2 previews. This update will be posted this page soon. So check back often!

RIVERSIDE IMPORTANT NOTICE!:

Well it has been another hard day here finishing up Riverside, thankfully it is complete and soon to be available for download. I'd say within the next hour if all goes well I will be posting the download link. Installation instruction will be available in a README file inside the Riverside folder. Stay tuned within the next hour for Riverside! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! 

 

RIVERSIDE IMPORTANT NOTICE!:

I have am putting the finishing touches to Riverside, adding families and editing some homes.
The entire neighborhood will be available for download very soon, approximately tomorrow 6/12!
So far it will be around 55 MB, please be cautious since this is a neighborhood and it has many homes.
Hopefully I can completely finish it up and be up for download tommorow, so check back tommorow for it will be posted in the afternoon EST!

With the help of a simmer I will soon be realizing my original idea of posting the entire neighborhood for download.
Now you will be able to play Riverside the way it was meant to be played.

As of right now, I have signed MaxoidMel's Guestbook to find out of her approval of this re-creation of Riverside. Since she is a Maxis employee, I wanted to know if it was officialy possible to do this re-creation.
