Why yes. That is Scott Bakula in his underwear. Glad you asked.
THE D
I, am going, to see, The D. Live. In concert. What's they got is going to turn my brain into shit.
Bitches Love me
So, I found a Red Hood action figure today. I was fucking excited. Unfortunately I am poor and had no money. I need a job. I'll get a job. Don't have much of a choice.
So much stuff I would like to buy.
Tenacious D is coming to town. I may be able to go. My friend may have an extra ticket depending on whether or not other friends are going. If so, it's mine for 80 bucks.
Seether. This is a band that gets a lot of bad rep. People say that they impersonate Nirvana and do it poorly. I gave them a chance. Didn't like them too much. meh. How come people are so elitist. I'm not trying to rag on elitists. I am one. One of the worst kind in fact. I'm an elitist asshole with a REAL iPod. Sure the Nano and Shuffle made the functionality of the iPod avaiblible to those with less money or who don't have 2 weeks worth of music. That's why I hate them. Because they made the iPod practical to people that don't have two weeks worth of music. The iPod is not a device for 'casual' listeners. Only those truly devoted to the listening of music should buy an iPod. Anyways......what the fuck was I talking about. I'm thirsty.
A belated Happy holidays goes out to everyone from me. To be fair we are still in the middle of our holidays as it is not yet New Year's.
This Christmas has been fun for me. Good food and good conversation. The presents I recieved this year were a tad over excessive in nature. I believe this to be because it shall be my last year recieving larger gifts. Oh well. Next Year I shall have a job and hopefully money so I can give out more presents. I hope to obtain employment soon for I would like to save up some money so as to either go on a roadtrip or move out this coming summer of 2007. If all goes well I shall be able to do both. It is currently 5:14 am. I am supposed to be meeting my friends in 4 and a half hours. I am not sleeping tonight. I can sleep on the bus.
I have a flashdrive and I love it. I set it up so I can access my gmail with thunderbird with my thumb drive. It is fantastic. I shall eventually set up my hotmail on there as well. As soon as I can figure it out that is.
Multiverse
I am excited. There is a new mmo engine out there known as multiverse. It consists of user created mmo's. Looks cool. Firefly mmo is being done using their engine. I'm making a game using it as well. We'll see how well that goes.
MAh
Sitting in yearbook right now. Supposed to be working. But I'm not. Oh well.
I freakin' love Pandora internet radio. "I almost smiled but I didn't"-Puddin' hahahaha. Puddin' is awesome. Anywho, (lol) I can listen to music on any computer that has access to internet. Good music as well. Music that I want to listen too. It allows me to discover new bands.
Started using my LJ again. Hadn't used it in forever. I have a plus account now. Don't know how or why that happened. But its freakin' awesome. Its going to be weird posting to both here and there. I shall though. Or get distracted and forget about both. Working on a picture of myself right now. Kind of like a self portrait. But not a portrait. Different from stuff I've drawn previously. Shall hook up my scanner next chance I have.
holy blogola
Got quite a bit of snow this weekend. Exploited every single flake of it too. My friends and I had quite the time. Don't get snow too often in the Fraser Valley, especially in these amounts. I'm hoping that school is cancelled tommorrow due to weather conditions. Would make the 4th day this year that I would miss school because of weather.
Saw Tenacious D:The Pick of Destiny on Friday night. Awesome movie if you enjoy Tenacious D or Jack Black.
On Saturday, my friend and I decided that we needed three tv's in one room with a different game system hooked up to each one. We then proceeded to call other people and invite them over to our gaming haven. Resident Evil 4, Wii Sports, Call of Duty 3, Zelda:Twilight Princess and Dead Rising were titles that we enjoyed. My personal favourite being Call of Duty 3. The Wiimote is used to aim your gun and turn. While the nunchuk is used for moving forwards, backwards and strafing. This really did it for me. Finally a FPS were you really aim your weapon and decide your movements. This new style of control truly takes some time to get used to though. It took about 7 tries before I was able to get past the first nest of enemies. I didn't play Zelda as much as I would of liked though. From what I did play, its an awesome game as well, the sword mechanics could of used a bit more work or I just don't quite have the hang of it yet.
The PS3. I just don't know where I stand. There are going to be quite a few PS3 exclusive titles that I definetly won't want to miss out on, but the price tag is rather intimidating. It definetly won't be the first next-gen system I buy. I'm still working on obtaining all of the last gen systems to tell the truth. There are still tons of great games out there for the "old" systems that I haven't even touched. Currently, as it stands, I am gaming on four platforms, GC, DS, PS2 and PC. Never have I had so many choices before. Previously I had been restricted to a Genisis, out dated PC and a GBC. I recieved the Genisis at the end of its run and played it well until I recieved my PS2. The only other escape during that time was my GBC which I actually got a few months after Launch. I actually brought it out of my closet today because my DS won't play Mortal Kombat.
NEW COMIC UP!!!! I just took advantage of another chance to make fun of Cody though. Quite proud of myself. hehehe.
Quite the interesting development. I am currently staying at a friend's house because my mother has kicked me out. I could of gone back home tonight but I'm still kind of pissed at her...ok, I'm really pissed. Anyways, I won't be posting much for a long time, not that I ever do anymore. This has kind of just turned into a lj. I don't use lj anymore. My friends and I used to all the time. Anyways, my current plan is to finish the semester at least then move out. I don't know if that will happen. I may finish the year before moving out, depends what happens. If I absolutly need to get out before the end of the semester I have been offered a couple places to stay. Like, long term. Not super but till the semester is finished.
Comic?
Alrighty then. This, is no longer a webcomic. I have converted the format of this site into a blog. A blog about what? Anything and everything that interests me. Video games, movies, music, books. Also, I shall be posting creative works on here. Sketches, short stories. That kind of stuff. Also, I may post webcomics of my doing from time to time. Whenever the mood strikes me I guess.
This weekend I worked inside for the first time. We load bags onto a belt which then go outside and onto the truck. When the last bag is going down when put a tag on it marking it as the last bag and for what ship. I had the honour of making the tag this Saturday. It was rather...phallic. It was totally unintentionally that way. I swear. I tried to make it less phallic. But that didn't work. The colors are really different than the proper ones. Either cause I have a crappy scanner or because I colored it with highlighters. I vote both.
Ok, well...yeah. I have Adobe Illustrator. Pirated of course. I'm sure not paying to 500 US. Anyways. I just need to learn how to use it in order to turn out a decent comic. Expect one soon.
Updates?
Yes, I know. I haven't updated in quite awhile. I think the only one who is going to read this will be Inu. Basically, I'm waiting to get my hands on a copy of Adobe Illustrator. I hate MS Paint.
Last Sunday, I saw Tool again. It was amazing. Better than in Vancouver. It was at the Gorge down in Washington. Amazing venue. Outdoors. On the side of the hill. About 40, 000 people were there easily. Seats were Amazing. And they played Opiate.
Tool tonight. Amazing. Unless you have been to a Tool concert you have no idea what it is like.
Was at Anime Evolution this past weekend. Really fun. I did not blow all of my money on manga like last year, so that's good. I spent a lot of money in artist alley and only 44 dollars in the dealer's room. Final haul: a lot of pretty things, a state alchemist watch, deathnote lighter, and about 12 buttons. I spent the majority of my time with
Sakura/Inu Mahou. We both had lots of fun glomping people. :P
I kid you not.
It really is funny how much they look alike. My friend has been the subject of much ridicule because of this. I believe someone who shall remain nameless even photoshopped his face onto Steven's body at one time.
I'm new
Hello all, and welcome to my webcomic. Throwers.
I shall be leaving for awhile. Taking off to Vancouver for a few days, then there's an anime convention, then the Tool concert. So it shall be quite some time before I am able to update.
