WARRIORS
Warriors is a fantasy series written by Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry. They got the idea for the books from Vicky Holmes. It takes place in a forest where wildcats live in clans together, and battle against rival clans for territory and other disputes. Riverclan is the clan of cats that live near by the river that cuts through the forest. They fish and swim easily, and are known as stubborn, proud, and powerful. Windclan is the clan of cats that live on the moorlands of the forest. They hunt rabbits, and are swift. They are often referred to as merciful and smart. Thunderclan, the main clan in the series, is the clan of cats that live under the shelter of trees. They hunt almost anything except fish. The can find mice, voles, bird, etc on their territory. They are known as brave, strong, and loyal. Shadowclan is the clan of cats that lives under the shelter of trees and pines, and they live on the marshlands. They hunt the same prey as Thunderclan, but they have a much different reputation. They are known as cunning, cruel, and dangerous. They have gotten this reputation from an unfortunate run of leaders in their time, but most of the clan cats are brave and follow the warrior code. Starclan is the clan of cats that live in the sky in Silverpelt. Silverpelt is the bright band of stars you see in the sky at night. They are the spirits of the clans warriors ancestors. Cats that were in clans and believed in Starclan and deserved to go there go to Starclan when they die. Starclan can send the living clans prophecies and warnings.
