My cats!

Louie Louie is 3 1/2 years old. His birthday is April 1st- April fools day! :P Louie is the coolest cat. He used to be feral when he was a kitten. Someone at a cat shelter near our house captured them and their mother. They took them to the shelter, but the mother was released again because she wouldn't have been happy to suddenly be a house cat. Anyways, our previous 15 year old cat had just died, and we really wanted another cat because it was weird without one. I'm not sure how many siblings Louie had. They were all in a cat hammock in their cage, all huddled together. It was just a lump of fur! All of his siblings were long haired cats, and thats the reason we got Louie. Now he's an outdoor cat who pretty much runs our street. He used to back down easily to the stray cats who he got in a fight with, but now he's all muscle and chases them away. He made a friend when our next door neighbor got a previously feral black and white she-cat kitten named Zoe. Maybe they sit around and swap stories about being wild before they had owners in between playing tag and staring at birds and looking down chipmunk burrows. Louie is a really good hunter- but I'm not sure I like this trait that much. 0.o

Ricky Ricky is six months old. His Birthday is on April 15. He was abandoned in a cardboard box on the side of the road with his SEVEN brothers. Someone found them and brought them to a cat shelter near our house. When we went there one day looking for a kitten to get so Louie could have another friend, we found him and his brother, who was a tick tabby. It was hard to decide which one to get, but we finally picked Ricky, which was a great choice. His name at the shelter was Benson- my sister suggested the name Ricky from the I Love Lucy show.
