I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. Been a busy time since I last updated. I won Warboss and had a huge campaign to unite the clan and to ignore tribes for a little bit, but the Shadowclan nobs and a few bloods (and their other characters, yeah I know who most of them are) wanted to cause problems and raise a big fuss. Seemed the old Nubb haters that were destroyed during the Ghaashie/Quattie war wanted to try to make things rough. I've probably never killed more people day in and day out than I did as warboss and I was actually trying to keep from killing people. Everyday someone had something smart to say and then died to me, only to stand there in deathrobe looting their things and still talking trash. Can tell where the bottom of our rp barrel went to. Even with some people against me, half of all the orcs in my trips were in grey boots. It was a huge success. Then out of nowhere, Gor'bladz posted on the main board that all members wearing grey boots could and would be demoted by thier nobs for not wearing tribed boots. I immediately made a post saying for all orcs to dye their boots back to normal tribe colors so no one would be demoted. I thought it was extremely cheap and below the belt to say that the cause was fine and then make a post saying people will be demoted when the cause is becoming a success. Yet another great idea shot down by those that be. I even had the pleasure of hearing some orcs say that the idea had failed or that I was trying to change the clan/tribe to grey boots. Of course those kinds of comments were made by Ghaashie-haters or orcs that logged in maybe once every few months.
Going back to the nobs on alternate characters trying to cause problems, I have a good story of Gra'ook on his character Iggrat using human help to kill Gug'lub the moonie that would trash him any day of the week. He then got real brave and fought me since the human was blessing him and chain healing him. After I told him I was taking screenshots of the entire thing, he walked off. And then Gra'ook shows up. I guess a quattie is a quattie on his main or his backup character.
As for pure Thrak-Ghaash news, we are still low in members but we have a good number of young orcs wishing to join. G'Haarg has been very vacant, even more than usual, because he and his wife just had a baby. Let's hope he gives the baby a toy womp so he doesn't grow up to be a red-blood. Zatush hasn't been seen in a good while now. I think we can safely call Unsolved Mysteries about him. We have yet to hear anything or even get a sign what happened to him. With one missing nob and one that is extremely busy with his full family +1, we are left with a tribe that has no leadership. We haven't been able to tribe members very often and haven't had any guidance. G'Haarg has voiced that he is working hard to go sharkuu so a new ghaashie can fill the role we are very much needing, but leadership (go nobs!) has put it off for ages. It wouldn't be suprising to see a new nob in another year due to the current leadership voting crew is full of people that have had a bad run in with either me or the tribe in general. Who cares if a tribe has to suffer, just as long as it is a rival that is having to suffer and not them.
Tribe relations haven't changed much. We still see Quatties as huge wimps that mass recruit any and everybody. We aren't looking down on Biters as much as we used to be. They are actually getting some tolerable members when their blood kiggr and nob-alts aren't online. Moonies are a neutral scene. We don't hate them but we sure don't like them. Howlers are more friend than any other tribe currently. Srinkhu are just invisible as they always have/will? be and take no stand in anything.
Also, one of our oldest members has been booted from our tribe. Frug'Kog was making a very good profession of going against his own tribe. Everything from putting down our nobs in front of a fort full of orcs to helping a group of orcs fight me during my Warboss cycle. Overall bad for the tribe but he seems to enjoy being tribeless these days.

Wew! I updated all the roster to what everyone said should be right. I created the screenshot page and am still accepting screenshots from ghaashies (Nubbhk@email.com). I archived the news page so that loading times will be shorter. Link is at the bottom of the page. I put the main page on the index page link so that you see the Scumglug story by www.freewebz.com/thrak-ghaash/ rather than seeing just my plan for a title page. I corrected a few errors I had made when last updating the news site. Hmm... what next?

Freewebz has redone their whole updating process so updating the site is MUCH easier now. It was a huge hassle before but it is great now. So, hopefully you can expect a faster posting of any screenshots sent in or roster rank changes.
For those that are interested in sending in screenshots for the Screenshots page, please email them to Nubbhk@email.com. With the screenshot, please have a title you want it to be labeled as.(example: Nubb'h'k meeting the Ghaashahk) Also, try to include a date. Screenshots are worth so much more when you know the date or the era it was taken at.
A big Hoowah to our newest two ghaashies, Lugha'Du and Gra'Gra. Help them embrace the flame and be one with the Ghaashahk. In other news, I was promoted to Wa'Womp-R today. Har!

Ah, much has happened since last update. Shortly after my last update, Wudgub became Warboss for the second time, with me warboss guard of course. I have updated the roster to include our new members Zeht'baal the kigg-r and Colv the mojoka. Both very worthy additions. The Ghaashies have had a very good reputation as pretty much the toughest tribe in Shadowclan, and these two will only make that truer. Until next time.

I have updated a few things on the roster page. If there needs to be anymore changes, please let me know. I am also reviewing which page I want to add in next. Decisions. If anyone is good with flash movies or anything of the such, I would like to do the intro page sometime soon. Ideas are welcome.
Tribal alliances are a little different. The nobs of every tribe seem to want to stay neutral in all relations. However, the members know who they like and who they want to be allied with. The Howlers are becoming good friends. We can count on them and they can count on us. They have just recently backed out of the Uzgfleaburp alliance. That makes them officially not enemies. The Srinkhu nobs have also stayed neutral while the members are Ghaashie friends. We aid them and they aid us just as the Howlers and Ghaashies do. The Moonies have been a little disappointting. They are supposedly our best ally but they have yet to aid us at all in recent times and some of their members "don't like ghaashies" or wish to stay neutral. This is bad news, to say the least. Once again, the nobs say one thing, the members are doing another. Perhaps the nobs should listen to the members a bit more.
Tribal conflicts have changed aswell. The Biters are still enemies that we take nothing off of. If insulted or even looked at wrong, we want them to be laying on the ground with blood mixed in with their puke. The Quatties are supporting the Biters a little stronger (Mainly due to them thinking nobs aren't free game in tribal fights and thinking they have to help a Biter nob that is in the fight). Nubb'h'k took a stand against their alliance and the Quattie killing began. Given a charred warhammer by the Howlers, he downed many Quatties in revenge. The conflict is almost over now so the black warhammer, named Uzg Masher, is put up in the As'sas'un Hut as a symbol of what happens when a tribe takes the step to battle the Thrak-Ghaash.

Vrok had moved to Gu' rank and was working on Ug' rank when he became Warboss in January. We were very proud of Vrok making Warboss so early in his career, none more proud than I. He was the gruntee that I had brought to the Ogba shrine for my Gu' quest and I had continued to consider him my student and alot like me. However, shortly after he became Warboss, Vrok's account got hacked and all of his characters were deleted. All of us in Shadowclan, especially the Thrak-Ghaash, will mourn the loss of a great orc. Sadly, Vrok doesn't plan to return to Ultima Online. Farewell, Vrok, and be well where you next call your gaming home.
I have been a bit slack on the website work since I got back. I'm considering what my next development with the site is going to be. Maybe the poll or stories. We shall see. Until then, Gug'ye.

It has been some pretty good moons for the Thrak-Ghaash lately. One of our nobs, Thunk'glug, has become active again. Another nob, Thulag'Azg, has been seen awake on a few days aswell. If both decide to become active aswell, that would make four active nobs (G'Haarg, Zatush, Thunk, Thulag) for the Thrak-Ghaash. Most tribes can only claim two active nobs at best.
Our status with other tribes still stays the same pretty much. The Howlers have been our good friends thus far (mainly because of Shag and I getting along and fighting by each other's sides). Srinkhu have been known to side with us in almost every battle but haven't made anything official. The Quatties are close, aside from a friendly skirmish here and there. Biters are dire enemies to us (and to pretty much everyone else). Moonies are sleepers and non-vocal/not involved when awake.
Unfortunately, I have to leave for another month. Wasn't even back for a half a month and already have to leave again. I was very active this month, so I think I bought me a little away time. This will be my last time leaving like this. See you all in a month. Hoowah Ghaashahk!
