Old Took
Old Took (Gerontius Took) was probably most famous for being the second longest living hobbit in history. He lived a grand 130 years, but he was surpassed by Bilbo Baggins, who lived over 131 years.
Old Took had 12 children, the oldest being Belladonna Took, Bilbo’s mother. Old Took was also the Thain of the Shire for 72 years. Gerontius had Midsummers Eve parties, at which Gandalf supplied the fireworks.
