THOMAS'S LEGION OF INDIAN AND HIGHLANDERS
Our Skirmish team represents a little known or acknowledged segment of the War of Northern Aggression. The Activities and History of the Continental American Native's that fought on the side of the Confederacy.
The legion was a mix of white and Indians. That the mostly Scot's Irish whom migrated to the far western mountains. (at the time) and interacted with the Indians that inhabitated that area. So, a clan system meets a clan system. Naturally they would either assimilate each other or battle each other. And they absolutely did, both. When the War Against Northern Agression came along, the split between the tribe was more based on tradtional aspects then political. But politics were by no means a minor part either. The idea that the Savage Indian was SAVAGE is a false hood pandered to and enforced by the goverment and the so called elite educators. (Not much has changed) a long traditon of captures and slaves taken was threatened by a far away ENGLISH based coastal metropolitan communities.
