Greetings from the President

Thanks so much for expressing interest in our club. Mothering As A Career Club, or MACC, is a wonderful group of stay-at-home-moms and their children, and I hope you will take the opportunity to find that out for yourself. Our group is designed to not only offer a wide variety of activities and events for moms and kids but also to provide support to each mom as we face the many day to day (hour by hour, minute by minute) challenges of stay-at-home motherhood.

I have been a member of MACC for over three years and can honestly say it has been a life saver. When I moved to Terre Haute in 2004 I had a 3 year old, was four months pregnant and knew absolutely no one! As a first time stay-at-home mom I was terrified about not knowing anyone, having nothing to do with my kids and quite frankly going crazy. Three years and 2 additional kids later, I am thrilled with what MACC has done for me and for my family! With our events calendar, there is almost always something for my three kids, including my infant, to do. And the Mom’s Nights Out provide me with the chance to hang out with other moms, without the kids. My children have made some incredible friends through MACC and equally as important, so have I.
