The Thirteen Nightmares are that of which thirteen angels took no side when the Heavens went to war, siding with nobody. They denied to fight for a lost cause in the name of God or Lucifer. They are represented by the anagram "V" In which all of their names hold. This "V" also stands for "void." They carry no definate body, taking the surroundings and morphing their body to adapt to it.
The Thirteen Nightmares are the Thirteen guardians of the Lake of Fire. Damned to serve an eternity of void and guardianship of this lake. They draw their life from this, being made of the angels killed in the war of Heaven and Hell. Tho' they all draw their life and power from this, or less of life..they each carry a different element to use and abuse to their wishes.
