Splash News Online reports that the star, who 'looked every inch the rap superstar as he got out of his Mercedes with a huge piece of bling around his neck' according to an onlooker, took out his driving licence and noted down his details.

'Eminem and the woman both seemed pretty relaxed about the accident, and there was a lot of smiling and laughing going on,' reported the onlooker.

'Eminem was a gentleman throughout and showed he is a bit of a softy by giving the lady a big hug before they got back in their cars and drove away.'

17.03.07 D12 member 'Swift' Sentenced to jail

D12 member Swift was sentenced to 93 days in an Oakland County jail after missing a court hearing while to attend the funeral of his friend and fellow rapper, Proof.

Swift, born Ondre Moore, was arrested in a Detroit suburb and sentenced to more than three months for violating the terms of his probation in a drunk driving case.

District Court Judge Brian MacKenzie issued a warrant for Swift's arrest the same day he served as a pallbearer at Proof's funeral.

According to court records, the 31-year-old Detroit rapper tested positive for alcohol, despite being court-ordered to remain free of drugs and alcohol.

Swift allegedly tested positive for having alcohol in his system with blood alcohol levels reaching. 079 and .084 last week.

Swift was placed on probation after pleading guilty last October to a charge of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired.

The arrest comes on the heels of the murder of Swift's friend and original D12 member, Proof.

Born Deshaun Holton, Proof was shot multiple times and killed inside the C.C.C. club on 8 Mile Road on April 11, during a dispute with a bouncer.

Proof was laid to rest April 19 at the Fellowship Chapel in Detroit.

After three years and a number of false starts, D12 has announced that their third (and possibly final) album will be released in June.

Much of the delay was due to the death of D12 member, Proof in 2006. Eminem has a tattoo which reads 'Proof', the nickname for his best friend DeShaun Dupree Holton, tragically shot and killed in April 2006. Proof was also the founding member of the collective group, based on Eminem's record label.

Titled 'Natural Born Killers', the new album will feature guest appearances by Obie Trice, Nate Dogg, 50 Cent, Dina Rae, Three 6 Mafia, Fat Killahz, and Big Herk as well as production from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Kanye West, Hi-Tek, Swizz Beatz, and J.R. Rotem.

'Natural Born Killers' will be followed soon afterwards by the, as yet, untitled fifth solo album by Eminem in early November.

The first D12 single will be out in April and it is a tongued in cheek dig at fans who have reacted negatively to recent releases by D12 and Eminem.
