Welcome to the Zelda Knights, a fan site dedicated to the realm of video games...particularly Nintendo and the Legend of Zelda. Though it seems my susceptibility towards disappearing for months at a time is inconsistent at best, I am still very much dedicated towards making ZKnights an informative place for Nintendo titles and the Zelda series. HadJo's Ultimate OoT Challenge (2/23/08)
2008 marks the 10th anniversary for the legendary Ocarina of Time. It feels like I seemingly play this game every year, allotting myself two weeks to re-experience the most incredible game of all time. Before Twilight Princess, it was obvious that this game had aged beautifully, though Link's movements and controls seem a bit hampered after playing TP on the Gamecube. Anyways, it's that time of year again and I recently started a new file on my copy of Master Quest. While I could play the regular game without complaining, the added difficulty of the dungeons keeps things fresh, and what's more, I've thrown in my own challenge.

Namco to Bring Tales of Symphonia Sequel State-side (2/19/08)
In their latest issue, Nintendo Power confirmed that the sequel to the Gamecube's RPG
Tales of Symphonia will receive a North American localization on the Wii console. Formerly known as
Knight of Ratatosk, the title was changed to the American-friendly
Dawn of a New World. The predecessor is well-known for not only being a 60 hour, character driven epic, but also for being one of the only true roleplaying games on the Gamecube. Hopefully things won't be the same for the Wii, but as of right now,
Dawn is the first RPG to be announced on Nintendo's system. The game will drop in Japan on April 24th, but Namco Bandai has remained broad with "2008," in regards to the North American release.

BioWareRating: 4.5/5 Mass Effect is blatant proof that
video games are a technically refined form of artistic expression.
Since 2003’s
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, BioWare has revolutionized
the Role Playing Game genre with their blend of storytelling, character
development, and raw gameplay.
In past
outings players would be able to craft their customizable protagonist around
their own decisions throughout the game, but nothing compares to what the
development team has done with
Mass
Effect.
Taking
place 175 years in the future, scientific discoveries have enabled mankind to
travel throughout the galaxy at faster-than-light speeds.
This also leads to humanities first contact
with numerous alien races inhabiting other solar systems.
The muse of lead writer Drew Karpyshyn, who
also wrote the legendary plot in KotOR,
Mass
Effect is a view of the future which constantly fills gaps, and even makes
the player wonder if these events could actually transpire in 200 years.
Despite falling under the much treaded
“science fiction” genre, the attention to detail is so undeniably complex that
Mass Effect could be another fictitious
universe for Lucas fans to debate over canonicity when sequels drop.
