"The World RO" would like to present the peacekeepers of the server. The Crimson Knights will uphold the peace and stability on the server. They will take bot, bugs, and abuse reports which will then be sent to the GMs to be resolved. The Crimson Knights will be under watch by Elk. Hence, they have GM powers so treat them with respect. If a knight is abusing power or abusing their title in any way, report directly to a GM and it will be resolved. Once again, please welcome the Crimson Knights!

Server Status
For the time being, the server is temporarily down. The reason is because the old files only allowed for 30 characters to be created. We have now, turned the server off to fix this problem and to work on the 3rd patch. The server down-time is uncertain at the moment due to us having work outside of the server. We apologize for the inconvenience but please bear with us while we fix the server. Thank you for your time.

Our Newest Addition To The Team
We now honorably welcome Aura to our team of GM's as she is our new spriter/moderator. She will be helping with the creation and completion of the .hack sprites as well as watch over the server when neither Balmung, Elk, or I are on. On a side of that, the server will be running during the day ((Pacific Standard Time)) even though it isn't fully completed.
Also, our second patch will be released soon just as soon as I finish up the infected ground of Mac Anu ((Prontera)). Once again give a warm welcome to Aura and treat her with respect.

Side Note
We forgot to mention that the names of the legendary dot hackers are for GM use only for the time being. Orca ((or Bear)), Sanjuro, Blackrose, Terajima Ryoko, Natsume, Moonstone, Sora, Tsubasa, Krim, Mimiru, and Tsukasa are all for GMs only right now. Once we have our full list of GMs, we'll let you know which of the names are available for use and give you an updated list on the GMs as well.
Also, using "GM" in your name will result in an immediate account suspension and possibly deletion. This is so we don't get the GMs mixed up and try not to cause as much confusion. Keep these things in mind and enjoy "The World RO"

Back on track and some info
Alright well server was fine after the system restore, nothing happened to it, everything was still there. Here is some stuff i have been working on for our next patch.
- Better Prontera texture
-Working on making custom maps
-Working on importing models into the maps
-Working on some custom items

Set back...
Well I had to do a system restore on my computer so it might set me back a few days on our server. The good news is that a lot of my files weren't erased and the server files are still there, but if they dont work that not a problem, i backed them up and a cd right before. the only thing that may happen to the server is a char wipe but thats not that bad. Sorry for this slight set back.f

to use this website click the box where it says Sever IP and in that box type theworld.hopto.org
then click check it. If the login, char, and map server are online you can log in.
The web server doesn't matter.

Server has been down for awhile, but will be up and operating soon!
I have had major isuues with my router affecting the server. However, i will soon be buying an ethernet splitter so i can have my modem directly hardwired to my compuet and have the other cord going to my router. This will solve all the problems and the server will go online. I am very very sorry for the delay but i have been busy with school. So until i can get the hardware i need please have patience.

Server Online For Beta
"The World" RO is now up and running, we still have some stuff to customize, we are try to make this server as customized as possible, this may take us awhile but we are trying our best. For right now u can just beta test our server if u want. You will find the sclientinfo on the forums. We will be releasing a data folder for you to download once it is completed.
