Latest Rant: Raise 'em up!

23rd June 08

So fuel prices are going up. Not surprising if you start a religious war with the main source of oil there is bound to be a scarcity of supply. Before my troy readership (which i assume is scarcer than the oil supply) get up in arms and start shouting "Its not a religious war, it's to bring freedom and democracy, I hate Muslims for completely different reasons!"Well if your idea of freedom and democracy is 100 innocent dead a day and a government we chose well I guess it's a big "well done" from me. Somehow I doubt that's what you meant. We (the West) have managed to take a country as fucked up as Iraq and actually make it worse!

But oil, yes it;s up to £1.19 a litre which i think is a better measurement than $100 a barrel because we don't know how big the metaphorical barrel is. But apparently it's not because we've blown up the Middle East. It's because the lorry drivers are on strike. Now me I love a strike, they're standing up to injustice well done them and hopefully it'll teach the rich bastards and white middle class morons to get rid of their glacier melting 4x4 which requires its own oil rig to get down to the shops.

Now the strike is over and prices are still on the up, this time it is because we've blown up the Middle East. The oil is running out, it's a finite resource that's what it does. We need to look into developing renewable resources now before the oil does run out and we can't power the research labs to find new ones. We can't keep taking countries to get the oil, it'll still run out. Everyone knows Iraq was about oil no one can deny it anymore and still be taken seriously. The only people still denying it are die hard Republicans in dark rooms rocking backwards and forwards in the fetal position repeating in a harsh voice "Freedom and democracy, freedom and democracy, freedom an..." Perhaps the Iraqi people would be more accommodating to us if we stopped just sending more and more troops in to the point where we'll flood the country and he sheer mass of people pushes the Iraqis out to guard the oil fields and actually guard the citizens. I can't see how we're supposed to be guarding the people when all we do is shoot them and sexually assault the live ones. Iraq was less a war and more armed robbery.

I seem to have gone off subject a little. So to sum up the oil stuff research renewable sources of power, be nice to the Iraqis, confiscate all 4x4s in urban areas and sentence their owners to 10 years hard cycling.

I have lost faith in Barack Obama. It happened when I was reading the BBC News website and he's declared his support for Israel. Great another President who's said to them "Go ahead do whatever you like. Commit atrocities? Sure! We'll just sit here with our fingers in our ears, hum loudly and look the other way." Now I'm not anti-semitic but Israel is behaving like the kid who's been bullied for years and now has made friends with the biggest boy in the world and is taking it out on the other kids. But it wasn't a good idea to move the Jews to what is now Israel in the first place. I can imagine the conversation
"Hey there, now you guys have suffered the oppression of Nazi Germany so we've decided to give you a new home"
"Thank you very much"
"Now you guys get on well with extremist Muslim groups, right?"
"Well...no...not really..."
"Well that's great 'cause we're moving you to where you'll be surrounded by them!"

That was surely a recipe for trouble. Didn't anybody stop to think about this quite important issue? Perhaps they should have given the Jews the nice bit of Germany, the Bayern, to make a new home. That would have served them right. I am convinced there is only one way to sort of Israel and Palestine and that is to call in Super Nanny! If one tries to invade the other they are just may to sit on the naughty step!

I am sick of all these religiously extreme countries. Where law everyone has to obey is based off the doctrine of one religion! Well then I want one! My only job now is deciding where it's going to be. As I am the self declared Pope of Atheism/Agnosticism I will begin the Atheist and Agnostic homelands both ruled by myself. The Agnostic Homeland will be more difficult to run since I'll have to sit on the fence about every decision. So join and together we will rally the UN to give us what we deserve. Long life "Uh...." the Agnostic/Atheist Homeland!
