Wee Kids Chihuahuas

AKC and CKC puppies

ALL ABOUT US

Welcome to WeeKids!

We are first and foremost, chihuahua lovers and owners. I can't imagine my home without the patter of little chihuahua feet, and a small furry bundle or two snoring next to me at night.  Our dogs are house dogs, and spend their days lounging on the couch or sleeping in my pillows. Puppies are raised and watched over in large kennels next to my bed until they are old enough to run around the house. They are kissed, cuddled and handled daily.

I purchased my first chihuahua in the summer of 2000. I was raised around other breeds, but had fallen in love with a tiny little chihuahua named Peanut while out visiting with my parents as a child. It was 35 years later when I brought my first chihuahua home. Angel Marie was and still is, my heart. I went to pick up a fawn male puppy and instead, a sassy little chocolate girl walked out the front door and into my life. The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she was mine. When the lady agreed to sell her to me, I cried all the way back to my car, holding her in my arms. Eight years later, and I feel the same way about her. She is my baby girl, my princess. This is my Angel Marie.

By breeding a few special litters a year, we are hoping to give that joy to more people. We have added all of our breeding dogs to the family as puppies so we can get to know them first. They are our "kids" before they are breeders. We totally stress personality and health first. If any of the pups we purchase as breeders aren't healthy emotionally and physically, they will NOT be bred when they are older. We don't breed for any specific trend in color, and do not purposely breed tinies or teacups. If you are looking for a two pound dog, I am probably not the breeder for you.  We may occasionally have smaller pups, but we do breed towards the top of the standard in weight. Weekids is located in Ohio, along the shores of Lake Erie.

If we don't have the puppy of your dreams, you just aren't dreaming right!

FAITH

"When you walk to the edge
of all the light you have
and take that first step
into the darkness of the unknown,
you must believe
that one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid for you to stand upon,
or, you will be taught how to fly."
