There's this mean girl called Lavender who has a bit of a crush on Ron. It's leaked in the beginning of the film that Hermione and Ron are finally going to get it together, and then she steps in. Hermione is sensitive and quite mean, really. And it's very much about how she sort of despises Lavender. Not really because she's taken Ron away, but because she's kind of the opposite of Hermione. So it's very comic and also quite sad for her. It's very Ron based, her part.

hey guys!! sorry I haven't updated much since the 6th of March,It's just I was so busy with my birthday party (it was on the 10th of March),
there are lots of updates,where do I begin?, well let's begin with Emma's new photoshoot at the French Magazine Crash, she was shooted by Karl Lagrfield in Paris, and the Photoshoot is a little bit odd, anyway here are the pictures:
we also decided to have a site of the month each month, so for this month the SOTM is sprousebros-fans, a fansite for the indentical twins
Cole and Dylan Sprouse who play Zack and Cody in "the suite life of zack and cody" On Disney Channel, it's a great site,make sure you visit it,

Even though Emma is not like Hermione from the Harry potter movies she sure is just as smart. Emma quoted,
"Did I tell you I got accepted to Yale," she writes under the handle "mwtsnx."
Yes Emma has the option of going to Yale, but She`s also been accepted at Cambridge so she`s still deciding wether to stay close to home near her family or go to America.
This Fall it was reported Emma has been seen touring Brown and Harvard universities, as well as Yale. No word from any official source that confirms which university Emma will attend.

Butterbeer Recipe
Butterbeer! It warms you up AND tastes great. Now in take-away form from The Three Broomsticks. (Many thanks to Melissa for this recipe!)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
- ½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
- ½ tablespoon butter
Directions:
Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.
Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.
Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!

The Hermione Granger actress recently spoke with MTV about her upcoming work for Deathly Hallows and her favorite scene:The relationship between Ron and Hermione is obviously something near and dear to Watson – the “Deathly Hallows” scene she is most eager to film is a volatile moment between the couple.
“The scene that really touched me is Ron’s betrayal of Hermione, him leaving her. There’s that wonderful scene where he comes back and Hermione just launches herself at him and starts hitting him and is uncontrollably angry at him and disappointed in him for abandoning her. I’m looking forward to that because it felt very real when I read it.”

According to an MTV blog report, Emma Thompson will not reprise the role of Professor Trelawney in the two-part Potter finale. Forced to choose between Deathly Hallows and the sequel to Nancy McPhee, Thompson said the choice was obvious."The Harry Potters are great big franchises that are something I’m not emotionally attached to or necessarily particularly creatively attached to. That’s more like doing a turn, whereas the Nanny McPhees are something I’ve written. The art is in those films, they’re very handmade, they’re something that’s very close to me. Those are the ones I really care about."

'Harry, a History' interviews with JK Rowling

Melissa has posted numerous bits of an interview she conducted with JK
Rowling for the book. The latest part is Jo's reactions to the Order of the Phoenix field incident where guns were involved:"I remember there was a journalist, a TV journalist, who said at the time, very flippantly, 'Ha, ha, it's all publicity, isn't it?" It just felt so out of control at that point, just felt so out of control that the manuscript had suspiciously turned up in a field, that this guy who had supposedly found it just thought, 'Oh, well, the best thing I can do here is phone some newspaper. ... And then of course we hit book six and we think we've seen the most out-there attempt to get a Harry Potter manuscript early, and of course we haven't come close because the we get the guy with the gun. That was pretty serious, that really was not funny. Fiddy told me and I thought it was a joke. I thought she was making a joke.

We don't know how, or when, or who, but several readers have tipped us off to this brand new international Half-Blood Prince trailer that hit the web this morning.The trailer has new scenes and dialogue that wasn't seen in the first trailer.
The new trailer runs roughly a minute and a half and includes several new scenes!

JK Rowling to read from Beedle the Bard at party
BBC News is reporting this morning that our favorite author will be reading from Tales of Beedle the Bard at a 'Beedle' tea party in Scotland on the same day the book is released in the US and UK:She will read extracts from one of them at the Beedle tea party at the National Library of Scotland (NLS), hosted by The Children's High Level Group (CHLG).
The party will take place in Edinburgh on Thursday 4 December, the same day as the tale goes on sale in shops.
The National Library of Scotland has borrowed an original copy of the tales from Barry Cunningham, JK Rowling's first editor.
The Scotsman has a quote from Jo where she describes the importance of the Beedle proceeds:
"Hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children in eastern Europe are living in appalling conditions in large, residential institutions," she said. "Contrary to popular belief, fewer than 4% of them are orphans, but are in care because they are considered disabled or their families are poor or from ethnic minorities. The charity is publishing The Tales of Beedle the Bard to raise money to fund our work in helping these children out of institutions and in to loving families or community care homes.
"I hope that The Tales of Beedle the Bard will not only be a welcome present to Harry Potter fans, but an opportunity to give these abandoned children a voice. It will encourage young people across the world to think about those who are less fortunate and help change many young lives for the better."

The US publisher of the Potter series has announced a child's essay contest, with the grand prize (five of 'em!) being a trip for two to Jo's Beedle the Bard tea party on December 4th:...fans are asked to write an essay of 200 words or less describing how they have helped others. Because so many kids today are taking an interest in helping others in their schools, communities and around the world, the Scholastic contest gives them an opportunity to write about causes they care about and what they’ve done to make a difference. The contest begins today and entries must be received by 5 p.m. EST on October 30.
Additionally, Scholastic announced that an original copy of Beedle the Bard will be on display from December 5th to January 4th at The New York Public Library's Humanities and Social Sciences Library at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street in New York City. The original copy was graciously lent to the library by Scholastic's Arthur Levine, who edited all seven Potter books.

New ride inside of Hogwarts at "Wizarding World" theme park?
There are several rumors circulating the internet that a 200 foot-high ride will be featured inside the halls of Hogwarts at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park.
As many have suspected, this confirms that the big new ride will be placed inside the massive Hogwarts castle that is currently under construction. From what I’ve heard the ride system is already on site, but locked away in a massive warehouse somewhere protected by guards likely with orders to shoot first and ask questions later. Once the ride portion of the castle is finished and walled in, they will begin to move in the pieces and build it up away from prying eyes until they are ready to make the big announcement.
Please treat this as a rumor at the moment, we shall try to receive confirmation on this as soon as possible.

The sweetest person I’vemet this Paris fashion week has been Emma Watson, the 18-year-old British actress making her first trek to the Parisian collections. “I’ve been to fashion shows before, like the Chanel show that was in London in December,” she told me. “But this is the first time I’ve been to shows like this. This is my first time at fashion week, and let me tell you, it’s pretty intense.”
After her time in Paris, she’s planning a trip to the East Coast to look at universities.

Hey I`m here today to post some news! my computer should be back to normal in the next couple of days.
Emma watson is ready to trade acting in for academia. And I quote. There are excellent universities over there in the US. and I`m applying at the moment," she told Britain`s Daily Telegraph newspaper. "If I go to America, I would do a liberal arts program." Emma Watson is now eighteen and has more than 17 million in the bank. she recently scored straigt A`s in her high school finishing exams.

I`ve been hearing it everywhere! and it`s true. The WB is not releasing Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince untill July 9th of 2009. It`s rediculus to push it so far I know, but sources report they decided to push it to July because of the OOTP film got so much hipe last summer. But could it be because Summit Entertainment moved Twilight to November 21st? Isn`t that the same exact day as HBP used to be? hmm well, it certainly makes sense not to have two huge movies on the same day to avoid competition. But I think no matter how long WB holds the release date off, they will still compare who rakes in the most money
Well sorry to all, I know this is bad news.

Equus in NY
Broadway rehearsals for "Equus" staring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths from the "Harry Potter" movies, are set to begin on Friday, August 8. The play is set to run from September 5 through February 8, 2009.

Rupert interview
On the set of Rupert`s new movie Cherry Bomb, he discusses the HBP teaser trailer and says it was just to get jpeople excited. Ron Weasley nearly dies after he drinks Professor Slughorn's poisoned mead, a gift the professor was meant to pass on to Dumbledore, in an assasination attempt gone horribly wrong. Ron had already been poisoned in one sense — "He gets poisoned quite a bit in this film," Grint laughed — because he ate Romilda Vane’s chocolate cauldrons (also meant for someone else, this time Harry) which were spiked with love potion. Harry rushes his friend off to the potions professor for a quick fix, only Ron goes from a bad predicament to a lethal one in mere moments. "That was a really fun scene," Grint said.

Hey everyone! It`s The Watson World`s 1ST aniversary ever! I`m pleased to say we have some awesome news to kick off our watson world week. Yep thats right. a WEEK of constant, on top of constant news for the watson world`s 1st aniversary. But only for one week.
We all knew Ballet shoes is coming out to dvd in America September 2nd. But did you know that Ballet shoes is infact coming to select theatres this month?!! thats right! 171 theaters in 77 markets across 35 states. The movie will be released August 26th
With the Trailer playing within a 20 mile radius of the theaters set to play the film.

While I was peeking around youtube, I was able to find the very short trailer for HBP. As I was looking around, I also found one movie with a sneak peek of HBP. There are more movies with sneak peeks to look at, so just click twice on the last movie to see them.

Emma Watson has won the award for, 'Best Female Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Film, TV Movie, or Mini-Series' at this years constellation awards. It will be added to awards page soon

First off, allow me to give myself a little intro before updating. I'm Nikki, and I'll be helping Rachel out with the site. I might not have a lot of free time, but I'll do my best to help keep the site updated. I've already added a simple but nice banner in the graphic section, while also adding a link button for link exchanging.
Starting July 18th, moviegoers who watches the Dark Knight in IMAX might get a chance to catch a very small trailer of HBP. It's unknown when the trailer is coming to theaters or what it's about, but I'm sure it's going to be a good one.

Hello everyone! hope all of you in america are enjoying 4TH of July weekend so far! it`s coming to an end today sadly but what you all should get hiped up for is the last of the Harry potter weekend on ABC Family. Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire will air on ABC Family channel tonight so check your local listings.
Jason Issacs who plays Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies as you all know will not be in the up coming Sixth Harry potter movie this year. But what he promises in one of his recent interviews, is that he`ll be back for the last film which has been recently split into Two (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows).
Heres a short clip of the interview
CS: What was it like to pick up the final "Harry Potter" book when it came out and not know what was in there, especially for you?
Isaacs: I'm not quite strong enough to pick up a book of that weight. I had a couple of people to help me, and a winch. The secret can be out now. Before it came out I wasn't quite sure – there was a point where I wasn't sure I was going to do anymore because there wasn't much for me to do in number five and I wasn't in number six. I met Jo Rowling for the first time at a big awards dinner. I went over and basically fell to my knees and said "Get me out of prison, I beg you." She looked over her shoulder and looked back at me mouthing "You're out. Chapter One." And that was it, that's all I had to know, and I signed up immediately.

Hey everyone! The trailer for the new animated film The Tale of Despereaux is now online and in theatres before the movie Wall-e! Check it out here. Hello everyone. Yes the site is still open sorry for not updating for well over a week. But now the site has Three new affiliates! Emmawatsontributeeverythingemma closed down recently but there back with a new site called, Pretty-emma and it is absolutely fantastic! bigger and better. Yes I`m still alive. ha ha sorry everyone! I`ve been very busy as I`ve told you plus, my computer was down for a day. For some reason it wouldn`t turn on. Plus my two graphics that I promised you on the newsletter weren`t getting done. I ordered but apparently it`s taking longer than expected so I`m gonna have to make some pronto. And as some of you may of noticed last weeks newsletter didn`t come. Well that is because I`ve had nothing to update you with and I`m sorry for that. In a way things have been running slow with harry potter, but still, there is so much to be done with the site!
anyways, The Ballet Shoes dvd will be out in the US. on September 2nd! I`m so thrilled about this. Nothing has been confirmed, I`ll probably have more information on the dvd for now, thats all I have.
Emma Watson has been nominated for 'Best Actress' in Ootp for the Syfy genre awards. She goes up against Gwyneth Paltrow, Helena Bonham Carter, Nicole Kidman, and Claire Danes. the voting starts June 25th and ends July 25th. Good luck Emma!!

Hello everyone. I know I`ve been absent but there is alot of news now that everyone will be happy to hear about!
I`ve added a new graphic to the graphics page. Kat, a friendly online buddy, made one for me and I was pleased she could contribute. Emma watson official has confirmed that on May 17th 2008 Half blood prince was finally done shooting! the movie will be out in November. That gives Emma extra time to focus on her A- level exams.

It was a bit of a shock to me but apparently Emma taking the role of Betsy in the film "Napolian and Betsy" has not been confirmed yet so it is STILL a roumour!
Emma confirmed on her official site that she is very interested in this role but she has not signed anything and there is no official start date for the production.
Sorry to everyone for possibly getting people`s hopes up because I got this news orignally from a site that I had never been to and they made it sound as official as can be! so now you know.
I will keep you updated.
