Since our first issue was released in November of 2007, we have branched out to new areas. We still have issues available where we are based in Nocona, but we now have limited issues available in Saint Jo, Montague, and Bowie. It occurred to us that we never properly introduced ourselves to our new readers, so we'd like to take a moment to tell you more about ourselves. As we mentioned in our first issue, the foundation of The Voice is to give citizens of Nocona and Montague County the opportunity to speak out about what concerns them, be it positive or negative. We are pleased that everyone welcomed the birth of this new publication to the community with encouraging words and compliments. If this is the first time you have picked up a copy of The Voice we would like to welcome you and hope that this will become something you look forward to every month. We offer commentary on issues of the day concerning area residents, and while we don't consider ourselves to be a traditional news source, don't be surprised if you do see the occasional news article from time to time. We have a few regular features, such as "Myths and Legends" and "Katie's Korner", along with occasional additions like "Odd News". The Voice is not constricted to topics we provide as we do offer our "Free-For-All" section allowing readers to send in comments about anything and everything that might be on their mind. Local writers and artists will be given a place to expose their talent in "Tales of Fancy", and of course we welcome all questions, comments, or other submissions. We hope to hear from you soon!
Be sure to bookmark us....that way it will be easy to find us next time you want to visit!
