FULL WOLF MOON BY K. L. NAPPIER
Eastern California, 1942: Alone, Tsuko Ataki strolls the boundaries of Tulenar Internment Camp. Too late, he sees the silver wolven creature waiting in the full moon’s light. The creature leaps. His head trapped in the werewolf’s jaws, Tsuko Ataki can’t even cry out as he’s dragged through the barbed wire …
Be prepared for a wild werewolf adventure with bizarre twists never read before. In the aftermath of Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, Captain Maxwell Pierce commands Lakeside Assembly Center, where Japanese-Americans are processed for internment camp. Bitten during another tour of duty, Max believes the beast was by nothing more supernatural than a rabid timber wolf.
The head of Tulenar Internment Camp is political hard-baller Doris Tebbe. Like Max, she doesn’t believe in werewolves. Only David Alma Curar, a Navajo healer who has tracked Max’s bloody trail, believes in the evil that stalks the camp. But this werewolf hunter doesn’t want to kill Max. He has his own reason for keeping him alive.

PIG IN A PARK (COMEDY/SUSPENSE) BY PAULINE B. JONES

REEF RUNNER BY PEPPER SMITH
Patty O'Donnell has everything she could want in life - a loving husband, a job she enjoys, and a year-old daughter she adores. An enemy from her past needs to make a lot of money quickly and believes he can use Patty's skills and talents. Forced to choose between life as his slave and her daughter's safety, Patty sacrifices her own future to save her child.
Every step takes Patty deeper into a world of theft and deception. A scam on the Great Barrier Reef nets two very different fruits - Financial gain, and the unexpected attention of a dangerous crime boss, who offers them both a choice. Serve him, or die.
Reef Runner is another awesome suspense story penned by the very talented Pepper Smith. Ms. Smith draws her readers in with her vivid imagery, charismatic characters and an edgy storyline that will keep you on the rim of your seat. I did not put Reef Runner down until I turned the last page. I was completely captivated by the suspense and the desire to see how the tale would end. I absolutely love the character of Patty. She is strong-willed, adaptable to any situation and her sense of right and wrong is commendable. I also commend her commitment to her family and the unwavering love she has for her husband. The secondary characters are just as compelling as the main characters. I am anxiously waiting for more of Ms. Smith's work.

RIO STAR BY PEPPER SMITH
Patty O'Donnell, pregnant wife of an Irish jockey and a trainer in her own right, finds both her career and her baby's life in jeopardy when she's abducted and forced by a pair of con men to help in a racing scam in Argentina.
At stake is a million dollar bet and long-delayed revenge. The con men's target is a dangerous man who has killed in the past and who wouldn't hesitate to kill again. A man from whom no one is safe, either in the crowded city of Buenos Aires or on the vast sweep of the Argentine Pampas.
Pepper Smith's writing has reached a new level with Rio Star. She's developing into a name to watch in the world of mystery and suspense. Her characterizations and settings are once again crisp and clear, and the plot moves forward at a run. Pepper Smith has brought home a winner. I give this book a Muse Review Mark of Great Read for its fast-paced plot, emotion and unique settings.
