2/10/06: It's been a while, but we're still here. A little late, but I wanted to post a portion of an article in which we, The Upper Class, are mentioned for our performance at The Note (ps: We'll be playing there again March 2nd, 2006):

9-30-05: We have a confirmed show at The Note in Chicago on November 18th at 9:00 PM. That's a friday. Tickets can be purchased at the door or from us (from us, you get a discount, tickets from us are only $10, tickets at the door will be more). We only have 100 tickets to give out, so buy them and get the lower price or risk paying more at the door. THIS IS A 21+ SHOW. People under 21 will NOT be admitted. More shows on the way... --Viaj

6-16-05: The Upper Class was supposed to play several shows this month...well...not several, but a few, all of which at this point have been canceled. We are looking to play a show at Bumpers/"Rack Em' Up". With Jessi as our new drummer, the album should progress much quicker. Expected release date is maybe sometime in August if all goes according to plan. --Viaj

6-10-05: The Upper Class now has a new drummer, Jessi Lee. Hopefully work on the album will resume and we can start booking shows. Songs should sounds basically the same. ALSO, after a long hiatus and lack of news, The Alfredo Pepperjacks will be working on a brand new album featuring a different version of 82 DOLLARS. Of course, it will be released on pepperjack records. Brackensife will also be doing a split with yet another Upper Class split personality, Neo Fast. More news to come. --Viaj

5-20-05: Well, after today's awful performance (Wayne, not the rest of us), we're putting Wayne on hold as our drummer..."drummer". Honestly...who stops in the middle of a song...? No one. So we're not...well, we might...yeah, we probably are firing Wayne. Former Kargen singer Johnny might take up drums, but it could be a while. So, anyone want to volunteer? As for the show, we got less than 20 minutes of play time, and were only able to fit 4 songs in. Not exactly the greatest show...in fact, it was far from that, if not the opposite. There is video, but it will NOT be released or posted on the internet. If you know us personally, you can obtain a VHS copy, just ask. Cassettes will also be made. No digital (CD or MP3) copies will be made. Thanks to all who came out and supported us, and we really are very sorry for the show. Really. --Viaj

3-1-05: Alright, so basically, we recorded a practice. It's Pepperjack Records (Pepperjack Videos) promo video for the album. Free copies of the "high(er)" quality video on vhs are readily available (meaning I have a blank tape and about 10 dollars for more should the need arise). 1-3-05: Happy New Year everyone. With that having been said, we've finally gotten around to practicing/recording. On January 1st we practiced, what better way to bring in the new year? Well, to tell the truth, it wasn't all that great. Wayne needs to practice more, I had to play the Drums on the recording we did (and for those who don't know, I play the guitar). Think about that. Anyways, in a week he should be up to speed. But, lucky you! Our hard work can beHEARD! We recorded "Genocide du jour" (this time, it has drums and EVERYTHING) with me on drums and guitar. If it helps to understand, we recorded Vocals, Bass, and Guitar first, then we went back and over dubbed the drums with an 8 track recorder, and dans computer. Anyways it can be told...er..umm, I mean heard by visiting our PUREVOLUME SITE Also, we expect to have SOME new pictures up with the new site. Yeah, I know, we make you move a lot and change URLs. DON'T WORRY, we will be keeping the same URL and everything, Dan's just going to be completely redoing the site, and making it look more professional than your mind can handle :-), you can expect the new site to be up with in 2-3 weeks. We'll let you know when it's going to happen though. Look for THE UPPER CLASS in May (we'll get an exact date soon)at Stevenson where we'll be playing at VietProm. 12-22-04: OK! ONCE AGAIN! Happy holidays and all that good stuff. I forgot to mention this in the previous update. There will be a video compilation from Kargen/The Upper Class. It has no title yet but will be a collection of demos, practices and live shows. Several free copies will be available, but only for a short time. These will contain bonus covers. That's why they're free, we don't really have permission to give them away...and if anyone should find out, we'll gladly discontinue those. There will be around 10 of these videos, and then an unlimited amount of the rest. Some will be available through us and others through cafe press. Obviously, the free ones will be through us. Oh, and the videos may even have some footage of Los Federales del Sonido and THE ALFREDO PEPPERJACKS! It will be great. One last thing, Dan will be redesigning the site, ONE LAST TIME. 12-22-04: Merry Christmas and what not. Anyways, the album is being delayed due to equipment and personel problems. Should be fixed shortly, and we appologize for the delay. Oh, and I, Viaj, have a new amplifier. It's a Roland VGA-7. It's pretty awesome and it can be heard on our upcoming album as my lead amp. The old yamaha will become a back up speaker for...well...anything, it's even equipped for performance as a monitor, so that's good. 12-1-04: Ok so 2004 is almost over and we've yet to play a show. Of course in 2003 (or was it 2002?) we played December 12th. Those were good times but the show was just ok. We didn't necesarily play bad, it was the fact that no one took it seriously. Anyways...anyone know where we could play? 11-5-04: We will definately not be playing the eSkape show. However, all other shows remain unchanged. Cleaning up the site, the updates go down pretty far, and no, I will not be archiving them. The only important information is the info on the upcoming shows, but that can be found in the shows area. I'll do some more work on the site, still working on getting everything matched. Some pages are missing the left updated box, and some just don't have the recent additions to it. The message board will be going public, meaning you will not be required to login, although the option will remain available. Otherwise, you'll be "anonymous" in the user name area.--Adam

11-4-04: Alright, due to a scheduling problem, The Upper Class will most likely not be playing at eSkape. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with eSkape. 10-27-04:Well, there's a single available for purchase at our store. It's only $8.99, and has 3 songs (sorry about the price, but thats as low as we can make it. We don't even get a profit, that's to pay for the actual production of the Cd). There's also a shirt available for the same price, but I'm going to fix it, I don't like it.
