The Upper Class has not always been The Upper Class. That's true in several different ways. Originally, The Upper Class consisted of a different line up, therefore, the band had a very different sound. Instead of Wayne on drums, there was Tony (who sucked) and on vocals, there was Matt Smith (who over used the word Defacto). Back then, the band had several names (Chronological order:Abcdef,Anti-ben,Dvah Tarjetas,Kargen). Most recently, Kargen. That version of the band played a variety of shows and even professionally (ha, yeah...professionally) recorded a single at some random studio (but they sucked). In 2003/2004 problems arose in the band and two members left (Tony and Matt) to form their own band which is failing miserably. The two remaining members, Dan and Adam (me...I'm writing this!)stayed optimistic that we'd be able to find new members. While serving time in hell (Stevenson High
School...that's a joke if you didn't get that), I (Adam) ran into Sam Fuqua(current Lead Synth/Lead Vocals) and asked him to join. Wayne later came and asked if we needed any members, and lucky for us, he played drums, so we let him in without hesitation. After practicing for a while, the band decided to begin a long since prolonged album (which is still in progress). Not too long after, Kargen changed it's name to The Upper Class.
That's all for now. I'll update this as soon as the album's done.--Adam
