 We are a group of students from Jordan Middle School who are hoping to help the hundreds of thousands of tsunami victims.
The count of people who were killed by the tsunami continues to rise each day and health officials are now worried that at least that many more could die from disease spread through contaminated water.
We wanted to do something that might not only help to provide immediate emergency supplies, but also aid in rebuilding these badly damaged countries. Our class knows we cannot match the $3 billion relief fund already provided by the other countries in the world, but we hope to make a difference for as many people as we can.
Palo Alto has so much and we feel we must do what we can to help people, many of whom now have nothing.
