The Truth 4 Kids

 School is a joke. They're not teaching us anything worth knowing. I'm now in 7th grade.I am home schooled but while I was in school last year they taught us about Buddhism, Africa, Asia, stuff COMPLETELY irrelevant to our life! One thing though. It is good to learn about other countries, BUT, we should learn about our OWN country FIRST!!! Then we can move on to other countries. But, we live in the U.S. and we should learn about that. We should be learning about the Constitution and of our own country! The school is controlled by the Government and the government wants us to memorize junk. They don't want us to be able to think for ourselves because they don't want us to know too much. If we know more than they want us to, we'll be able to fight against them. They don't want that, they want power.

Below are the thoughts and stories I recorded while I was in school. I am currently homeschooled and I think this is the choice you have to make. For those adults who are out there right now, please don't let your kid suffer in school. They will learn bad habits and they will not learn anything useful or worth knowing. Ever used a stem and leaf chart except for in school? No? I didn't think so. When you are homeschooled, you can learn whatever you want. Nobody tell me what to learn or not to learn. I am unschooled so some people that are homeschooled might not have the same freedom as me, but just being homeschooled is great. The schools don't teach. And, that's the truth.

 Worried about ruining your kids' "social life?" Don't! There are many, many homeschooling groups out there who get together to learn and have fun. I go to a homeschooling group every Wednesday and we learn a LOT, we do a lot of crafts, and I have a lot of fun hanging out with my friends. I do miss my friends from school SOOO much (You know who you are) but you can still be friends and see each other. Anyway, that's my opinion about Homeschooling.

A lot of things you are taught in school are exactly that! Lies. The story of how George Washington cut down the cherry tree? Yep, that's a lie. How Lincoln was SUCH a great president? That's a really big lie. He cause the death of over 600,000 people! And it wasn't to free the slaves, either. He wanted power because the southern states wanted to break away from the U.S. He didn't want them to so he cause a war. Lincoln was one of the worst presidents.  Here's a site that will give you more info on WHY he wasn't a good president and WHY he was horrible. Also, people were celebrating over Lincoln's assassination. Let that tell you something.

Stand up for yourself... If you don't agree in what your teacher is saying, say it, tell them. Make sure you think things out a little before you start to argue, though. I do it all the time in school and now my teachers kind of expect it. It's not that hard and your peers(classmates) will probably respect you for it. Do NOT be afraid to stand up for what's right!!!

It might sound stupid but this is a problem in some of my classes. We have a rule about only going to the bathroom the last 15 minutes of class. I can understand not letting them go while the teacher is explaining something but the last 15 minutes of class?!? Do they ask permission to go to the bathroom? NO! So, we shouldn't have to either. This is another example of how teachers and the government want power. My dad told me that if I have to go to the bathroom just say, "My dad told me that I can go to the bathroom whenever I need to so if you have a problem just call him." Then just go to the bathroom. What are they going to do? "Uh, well, your son/daughter went to the bathroom and he/she wasn't supposed to?" No! They'll back off as soon as you mention "call them if you got a problem with it." Again, stand up for yourself!

Today, I did the above! Let's start at the beginning. I was sitting in Science and was finished with my science work so I was catching up on work from another class (because I was absent a day) and my science teacher (no names) came up and took it from me. That wasn't the part that I'm talking about. It's just part of it later on. Then I asked my science teacher if I could go to the bathroom. She said No! Okay, I thought. I'll wait a little bit longer. "Can I go to the bathroom now?!?" I asked. No she said. I stood up. "You know what?!? My dad said..." "SIT DOWN!!!" she screamed. "He said that I can go to the bathroom whenever I want and if you have a problem with it, you can call him." "Oh, I don't have a problem with it but someone is out of the room." Which was a LIE!!! No one was out of the room. I started walking out the door. "STOP!!! YOU GET OVER HERE AND SIGN OUT!!!!" she started screaming. "Fine." I replied sarcastically. I could hear Johnathan in the background saying, "Go Jamie!" So, I walked out, went to the bathroom and went back in. EVERYONE was saying how cool that was and laughing, etc. My teacher was like, "Jamie, I'd like to speak to you after class." Fine. After class, I went up to her and she's like, "Jamie, this is science class and you need to do science work not work from other classes. Understand?" "Suuuurrrreee! Can I have my stuff back?" "It's over there!" I collected my stuff and left! She didn't even mention anything about the bathroom issue!

If you don't know, the federal government is in charge of the schools. And they're doing a very lousy job!!!

Public educators face criticism that American students perform worse than our international competitors. The criticism has some truth: Test scores, especially in math and science, are lower here than in many nations. Some nations have surpassed us in attainment such as high school completion.

That means that our state test scores compared to other country's test scores are at the near bottom of the chart. That's how bad the schools teach you! The government only wants you to know a little bit so we rely on them and so we don't think for ourselves. BUT!!! That's the purpose of school!!! To learn to be able to think for ourselves! Our government is very corrupt, so if we don't spread the word, they'll just think that they can make us do whatever they want. Like we're their slaves. Which isn't true!!! We have our unalienable rights (rights given to us from God) and the main ones are life, liberty, and property. The government is trying to take away those rights. The government is NOT your friend!!!

Lunch is supposed to be a fun time, right? It's not at my school. We have to sit in ABC order! We're not in Preschool! We should be allowed to sit by who ever we please. Now, we have to sit by people we don't like, people we might downright dislike! Again, this shows how schools care nothing about us and want their stupid power.

We had a shoutbox/chat  that we used here. But some idiots came and misused it with inappropriate talk and profanity so we took it off. Sorry!
