The Truth 4 Kids

Government

The government isn't supposed to be a bad thing. It's not supposed to be something we're scared of or hate. It's supposed to be a good thing. Without the government, this country would be complete CHAOS! The government's purpose is to keep the country in shape and to protect our unalienable rights. We used to have really good presidents who did what they were supposed to. Now, sadly I must say, that's not the case.

Sad But True

This is such a sad video but the sad part is that it's all true! Please send this to everyone one you can!

The Political Spectrum

Ruler's Law                                                    People's Law                                                                No Law

100%  (Tyranny)         <=====================> 0% (Anarchy)

That is called the Political Spectrum. *points overhead* On the left is tyranny which means total control. On the right is anarchy which means the opposite. It means total chaos because there is no control. In the middle is called the People's Law which is a perfect balance between the two.

The Founding Fathers tried to establish the People's Law. That was their goal. People's law:

  •  They considered themselves a commonwealth of freemen.
  • All decisions of the selection of leaders had to be with the consent (permission) of the people, preferably by full consensus (everyone's agreement), not just a majority.
  • The laws by which they were governed were considered natural laws. They were so well known by the people that they did not have to be written down.
  • Power was dispersed among the people and was never allowed to concentrate in any one person or group. Even in time of war, the authority granted to the leadership was temporary and the power of the people to remove them was direct and simple
  • Primary responsibility for resolving problems rested first of all with the individual, then the family, then the tribe or community, then the region, and finally, the nation.
  • They were organized into small manageable groups where every adult had a voice and a vote. They divided the people onto units of ten families who elected a leader; then fifty families who elected a leader; then a hundred families who elected a leader; then a thousand families who elected a leader.
  • They believed the rights of the individual were considered unalienable (God given) and could not be violated without risking the wrath of divine justice as well as civil retribution by the people's judges (court).
  • The system of justice was structured on the basis of severe punishment unless there was complete reparation to the person who had been wronged.
  • They always attempted to solve problems on the level where the problem originated. If this was impossible they went no higher than was absolutely necessary to get a remedy.

That is what People's Law is and that is what our goal is to reach. NOT tyranny, NOT anarchy! People's Law. Make that our goal. People's Law is the government we want to have.

I'm Not The Only One

You don't have to believe me or take my word for it. Other people, too are seeing what is happening to our government, our rights, our country. And, they're speaking up.

The Truth: More or Less

The Truth is not always pleasant. The Truth is not always what we want it to be, hoped it would be. Some people don't know how to face that so they just hide in a little shell and wait for other people to change it! The world is not how it used to be. Our country is now corrupt, people are more evil than ever, our country is in HUGE debt where our dollar is worth nothing. If we don't stand up and face the facts and actually do something about it, our country will be nothing. We will have no future and we'll dwell on the past, wishing we did something about it but didn't have the courage. We need to do something about it! You know, if we don't do something about these problems, it will be just as much our fault as anyone else because one person CAN make a difference! It's about time someone does.

Government is Part Cause

The Government is part of the cause-or a LOT of the cause I should say! We are also "part" cause. We can do something about the country's problems. It is our country isn't it?!? The government wants power and one other thing. Money. Plain and simple. They want power and money. We spend millions of dollars every year to have that war in Iraq. Is it worth it. Is oil worth killing millions of innocent people and forcing our country into debt?!? NO!!! IT"S NOT!!!  The government is not doing what it's supposed to. We need a good presdient to save us from the path our country is going. Ron Paul is the guy who can and will do just that! So:

Vote Ron Paul!!!

A Visitor From The Past By Thelen Paulk

I had a dream the other night, I didn't understand.
A figure walking through the mist, with flintlock in his hand.
His clothes were torn and dirty, as he stood there by my bed.
He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low, he said:

"We fought a revolution, to secure our liberty.
We wrote the Constitution, as a shield from tyranny.
For future generations, this legacy we gave.
In this, the land of the free and the home of the brave.

"The freedom we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep.
But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep.
Your freedom gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave.
In this, the land of the free and home of the brave.

"You buy permits to travel, and permits to own a gun,
Permits to start a business, or to build a place for one.
On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent.
Although you have no voice in choosing, how the money's spent.

"Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate.
Your Christian values can't be taught, according to the state.
You read about the current news, in a regulated press.
You pay a tax you do not owe, to please the I.R.S.

"Your money is no longer made of Silver or of Gold.
You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled.
You pay for crimes that make our Nation, turn from God in shame.
You've taken Satan's number, as you've traded in your name.

"You've given government control, to those who do you harm,
So they can padlock churches, and steal the family farm,
And keep our country deep in debt, put men of God in jail,
Harass your fellow countrymen, while corrupted courts prevail.

"Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oath they've sworn.
Your daughters visit doctors, so their children won't be born.
Your leaders ship artillery, and guns to foreign shores,
And send your sons to slaughter, fighting other people's wars.

"Can you regain the freedom for which we fought and died?
Or don't you have the courage, or the faith to stand with pride?
Are there no more values for which you'll fight to save?
Or do you wish your children, to live in fear and be a slave?

"People of the Republic, arise and take a stand!
Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land!
Preserve our Great Republic, and GOD-Given Right!
And pray to GOD, to keep the torch of Freedom burning bright!"

As I awoke he vanished, in the mist from whence he came.
His words were true, we are not Free, we have ourselves to blame.
For even now as tyrants, trample each GOD-Given Right,
We only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight.

If he stood by your bedside, in a dream, while you're asleep,
And wonders what remains of our Rights he fought to keep,
What would be your answer, if he called out from the grave:
"IS THIS STILL THE LAND OF THE FREE AND HOME OF THE BRAVE???"
