In the games, Tikal's American voice actress is Elara Distler, and her Japanese voice actress is Kaori Aso. In Sonic X, her English voice actress is Bella Hudson.
In the games, Sonic X, and Fleetway comics, Tikal's eyes are blue. But in the Archie comics, Tikal's eyes are green.
According to Sonic X, Tikal is 14 years old. They also claim her to be 95 cm tall.
Some people believe Tikal was a princess. Actually, she is realy just the daughter of a chief, not a king.
Tikal is named after an ancient South American city, and her attire reflects Mayan culture.
Tikal is unlockable as a 2P character in Sonic Adventure 2 if you get all of Knuckles' A ranks. In Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, she is already playable from the start.
In 2P mode in Sonic Adventure 2, Tikal is the fastest player, but her attacks are the weakest.
Her attacks are: Heavens's Justice, Wraith of Gaia, and Captive Light.
Although Tikal is a pacifist, the official Sonic Adventure 2: Battle website describes her as "A proud warrior of her tribe."
