We acquired the Grand Vitara in January 2008. The Mitsubishi Shogun that we'd been previously using for off-road activity had failed it's MOT at the end of 2007 - and we had decided that the time had come to look for something new.

A Suzuki Grand Vitara wasn't the off-roader we thought we'd end up with at all - as we were thinking more along the lines of a modified V8 Landy or a modified Jeep, but we saw the Grand Vitara and it suited our needs - a heavily modified off-roader, whilst also being suitable as a family car and tow vehicle.

We've had the GV for approx eighteen months now and the most important thing is that we continue to absolutely love every single minute of it!
