The Devil's Advocate

This website will be the homepage for The Devil's Advocate, the novel that I am writing for NaNoWrimo. NaNoWrimo is the acronym for National Novel Writers Month, a challenge that is issued every November by the site's creator, Chris Batey, to all aspiring novelists to write 50,000 words or more in just one month.

 Yes, you do have to have a certain amount amount of inherent insanity to take on this challange, but the feeling of success you will get when you actually finish your novel is immense. I have yet to do so, but I am hoping that this year will be my year. Third time's the charm, right?

 I will be adding chapters as I finish them, so while I might be writing (or attempting to) daily to get in those 1667 words, there will be a wait between updates. Currently, I am trying to get the prologue, of which there are two parts, done. The first part will be up when I am satisfied with it.

 Please bare with me, as in order to reach 50,000 words in a timely fashion I need to try and turn off my Internal Editor, which in and of itself is a near impossible task, so the writing might not be at its best. But have no fear. Come the end of November, I hope to be able to go back and edit.
