2. Basically, THE SORROW is a 'mysterious' character -- somewhat "alien". He's a real ANGEL. Albeit, a 'new' type of angel.
3. He is PASSIONATE about all he does! He is consumed with his 'calling'. A creature of mixed emotions. Full of *SORROW* "and" righteous *ANGER*. Use "body language" to convey his emotional extremes (ie. Head down, Eyes closed, Fist shaking, Hunched over...take it to the extreme ~ remember Comics are a "visual" artform).
4. He is a faceless "figure-head" for readers to live vicariously through.
5. He is NOT omnipresent however. He cannot be everywhere at once. He is also NOT all-powerful. He is not God.
6. This is a twist on the suspenseful, 'unstoppable' Characters in many Horror movies ~ except this time the "horrorified" are the villains, the abusers, the molesters.
7. THE SORROW never speaks aloud. He "thinks", but does not 'speak'. He acts.
8. THE SORROW can "travel" through Tears. When arriving through human Tears, the Tears 'can' seem to come alive. Sliding across floors, moving up walls, sliding on ceilings & even swirling in the air when THE SORROW takes form. When shot at, THE SORROW may also dissolve/scatter his Body into 'tears'. Be creative though. Be unique!
9. THE SORROW's Tear-Blade is indestructible, made of "heavenly" gold. He can slice with it or throw it.
10. THE SORROW may also disguise himself in Human form - any age, any gender. Never have him talk aloud in super-hero Angel form, only when he is disguised in Human form may he speak. And keep his clothes very 'dark'.
11. The stories would essentially be about the Humans, THE SORROW being more of a Supporting Character. Tell your Tale from any CHARACTER's Point of View ~ victim, relative, friend, therapist, priest, cop, senator, witness, etc...
12. As far as the number of Pages, we're thinking about 6-8 ~ along the lines of BATMAN: BLACK & WHITE. Most likely, the Format will be a Black & White compilation - but that might depend on the Publisher we go with. The content may be mature, but - as I mentioned - tasteful.
