As you may remember us mentioning last year The Sims 3 facts is not currenlty active. The website has become corrupt with errors and slowed down considerably. This is due to the high amount of traffic on the site and the growing amount of conent. As a result of this I have decided that The Sims 3 facts will be going independant with the URL www.thesims3facts.com
The new site is currently in the process of being built and we hope to have it in beta very soon. Hopefully the site will be published and up and running before the release of The Sims 3 in early June. The new site will have various other features including a media page for all of the official Sims 3 videos and screenshots. The site has been completely revamped and will have a new easy-to-navigate user interface with cool modern colours and stylish menus. Here is a very early preview of the coming site; we look forward to seeing you over there in the near future :)
EA has officially changed The Sims 3 shipdate from 20th February 2009 to 2nd June 2009. This has lead to much anger and disapointment over the community after EA gave just 2 weeks notice of the 4 month delay.
Well, after many rumors and much speculation it looks very likely that The Sims 3 will be delayed after all. the original 20th February 2009 release date has been binned and Eurogamer has published an article that EA are in the process of evaluating a Sims 3 delay.
The community seems disapointed about this which is understandable as we were only given just over 3 weeks notice of the delay.
A new official date has yet to be confirmed although rumors are ranging anywhere from 26th February right up until July 2009. We just hope it will be sooner rather than later.
I would like to aplogize for the lack of new news but due to large personal issues I've been very busy. With that said I would like to say that we will be updating the facts page soon to include information collevted from the recent Sims 3 Creators Camp as well as new information, screens and features.
