Open 3 paint files, 2 of them templates 1 blank

Select a sprite from the list on this site and save it

Open sprite in blank pain file

Select it, and copy / paste it onto one of the templates

Move sprite off to the side

Zoom in X8

Uuse the select tool to cut out a piece of the sprite (the head and part of the body)

Move ontop of one of the empy boxes (will be too big)

Use the select tool again to get the perfect size (use it to outline the box with the image on top)

Copy and paste this onto the other template

Make sprite transparent

Move sprite into the box

Continue until all boxes are filled

Type you name using the Text button in the space next to "Trainer Card"

Add a backround

Change all the light blue in the center to white

Google search a large backround image

Save it

Open it in another paint file

Copy and paste the entire trainer card onto the backround

Make trainer card transparent

Put it over the spot you want the backround to be

zoom in X2

Use the select took to get the trainer card with the backround

Cut and paste it into yet another paint file

Save

Now change the rest of the colors to something that looks good with the backround

Add a trainer sprite the same way, exept put him off to the side. a finished card should look something like this . post in in the guestbook so i can see how it turns out!
