/27- happy easter
to everyone. we played in the Battle of the Bands wednesday and we came
in second place. not what i wanted but its good enough. thanks for
everyone who threw in anywhere between $40 to 40cents, we love all of
you.
we've finally moved into the basement of my memeres house to finish the
writing we have left. the songs we're coming up with have been some of
my favorites and i hope everyone feels the same. we are doing about a
month full of 3 to 4 practices a week to write the 6 songs we feel we
need left and to polish up the oldies. late april we should at least
start recording but our trackrecord has shown we cant stick to anything
if we have it on a scheduale, cross your fingers people. thanks to the
people who are sticking with us and dont mind we're taking forever to
put out new music. <3
ALSO: we have enough lyrics to finish the writing but
we love ideas. if theres something you think that would be cool to have
on an album tell us please. we'd love to write a song about you or

3/18- i apologize that i update
so rarely nowadays. we've had some good times lately as a band. played
a great show in front of all our amazing friends and fans
at Curlys, played our first outta state show in MA at the
Scene of NE show (www.sceneofne.com), been
writing new material again, and made Battle of the
Bands. thanks to everyone who's been on this ride for the whole time or
just recently, we apreciate it.
i thought making battle of the bands would be one the greatest
things ever to do while going to high school. forget winning just being
up there is way too much for me and i aprecaite it and love it more
than many will ever know. i will go no further than to say that we are
thankful for making it and are stoked about all the congrats and the
"oh hey im cheering you guys on man!" that we've been getting from
friends and supporters. so thanks guys!

2/21- its been awhile. first off thanks to the people who caught us at
the shows with The Stompin' Charlies. they weren't amazing packed but
amazingly fun, perfect example of how shows should be. things have been
changing, this "record" that we've been writing has been either the
best thing i've been apart of or worse than a headache from an
ex-lover. content has gotten deeper and more serious and i think it's
starting to show. i wish i could give you guys a thousand new mp3s but
i have none on my hands. between the other projects myself and fellow
bandmates are in we're trying to take some time to do a three day
session at a studio we don't even know yet during the next school
vacation (around april i think). with the closing on a college
bank account i started when i was 8, my dreams of recording have
finally come into place and reaching distance.
when it comes
to playing shows we only have two coming up that we had cancelled due
to the weather forever ago. one is March 5th at Curlys Coffee House ( www.curlyscoffee.com
) in amhearst NH w/ The Stompin' Charlies and Bombing Burlington.
second show is on March 11th at the Artspace in gloucester MA for the
Scene of New England (www.sceneofne.com)
charity show. if you guys want us to play a show thats no

last night, it got cancelled last minute YET its being reschedualed for
march 5th. throughout the next few weeks we are planning on

12/5- we actually have news!
because of the recent winter vacation that my grandparents took means
that The Rimmons now have an amazing practice place in their basement.
good times. also, i'm aware that it doesn't seem it but we have been
preparing for this 'record' we want to put out. we have about 10-12
songs noones heard that we love and have to put on it, and i can't be
happier with them. we've thought more, laughed harder, and made some
sense.
finally!!! we have like $20 to our name, if
anyone wants to record us for like really really cheap we would love
you forever. hell, we'd write a song after you, do your chores, and
anything else you wanted. just let us know!
11/25- Happy Thanksgiving! the last show was fun and sexy thanks for everyone for going!
ALSO!!!! my beloved friend Casey (the 5th Rimmon) and her friend
Mike are setting up a New England punk/ska/rock/indie/whatever site for
every singe band in NE rockin out! this is going to be a huge thing so
you guys should get into it while its still young and fresh. all you

11/13- last night we went to Curlys to record a
couple new songs. one of which will be on the XROXX vol. 2 comp. we
just need to get the money, no biggy haha. besides that we have a show

10/30- we have a new song on purevolume!!!!! its
called 'Never Walking On 2nd Street Again'. it's one of my favorites
but we've only hesitated putting it out because personally im not into
how the vocals sound. but anyway, we have a show November 20th at
Curlys Coffee House w/ Room 44, Chicago Typewriter, and EEWEE. please

9/16- i feel retarded that i
can't figure out how to get any new MP3s on purevolume but heres a gift
for you. the amazing Curly from Curlys Coffee House put a link

you can listen to it. it's on the left-hand colum. also, we have a show
there on Oct 2nd with some awesome bands (Fischer's Bad Haircut, Class
Clown, and EEWEE) so please go it'll be awesome. the more people
the better. and lastely we just spent like $200 more dollars to get
better equipment for our recorder so we'll have the record recorded
FASTER and hopefully still have it sound awesome! -dan
9/11- show
last night went pretty good. we got there and loaded in. nobodys
girlfriend was up first. no dice was up next...they ended up having to
use nates guitar because their string broke, they did pretty good. UDK
went on stage. first their guitar string broke so they used nates
guitar. then, their bass string broke so they had to use my bass. they
put on a cool live show. next up was us. me and christian ended up
losing our shirts cuz chrsitian is just plain sexy and i was gettin
pretty hot up there and that + fever, mono isnt good. christian threw
my shirt out in the crowd and some lucky girl got to wear it. i got it
back after. lastly but definately not least was Plan 17. they rocked.
as simple as that. they played a nearly perfect set with awesome bass
and hornlines. too bad most of the crowd had left by then because it
was getting pretty late. come to our show OCT. 2ND
9/1- last night we stepped
out of Curly's studio with 6 awesome songs that will deffinetly
make the record once we have all the other recordings done. expect a
mp3 of 'Mrs. Pacman Is Packing' to be on purevolume shortly. also,
shows will be messed up. we said we weren't going to be playing shows
past sept 10th, and we lied. we have two more after that. those shows
will be part of the "2 shows, 2 days, too many ladies" world tour. dont
miss it!
8/20- the next show at drifters
(sept 10th) will be the last one for us for a little bit. we are taking
some time off from shows to get tighter, add 2nd guitar, possible
trombone, and to record more songs for a long overdue cd. so even
though we won't be playing a bunch of shows we will still keep you guys
up-to-date as soon as we find out anything new. also...christian is a
single man...ladies need apply. so take care of yourselves and each

8/7- new show date added!!!
8/5- last night we
recorded at Curlys and i must say the songs came out better then i even
thought. also, myself and Matt Dahl from Fischer's Bad Haircut have
been throwing rough plans together to do a split. when it'll finally be
done, i don't know. finally, this saturday (8/7) we are playing at The Summit Cafe with
Kickback, Broken Hero, and more. this MAY BE the last show of the
summer so make sure you make it to this one (doors at 6pm starts at
7pm).
7/24- thanks to the
people who still make it out to every show. we love you guys a lot

7/6- the show at the
summit cafe was pretty good. even though it was a weird list
of bands (ska,emo,and a DMB-ish one) we still had a wicked
good time. thanks to all who was there. this THURSDAY ,JULY 8th we
have a show with The Interceptors (good band that nick filled in
for!!!) and My New Life (another good band!!!). kids, seriously this is
worth going to see and im sorry if you can't make it. take care and

7/5-the show
yesterday with "Scumberland Farms" was fun. no one was really there. we
didnt do too great. but it was fun and thats all that matters. but yeah
we have a show tonight (730 at the summit) and we have recently found
out about a show that we have at drifters this thursday evening with a
great punk act by the name of "My New Life" from Tamato Head Records.
so make sure to go and support music. $8 starts at 8...doors open at 7.

6/27-just a quick
update, Monday July 5th we will be playing at the summit cafe (www.thesummitcafe.com)
at 7pm. There will be some bands outside of NH so you should come on by
and check them out, it will be a good time had by all. also, merch is
kinda bare 'cuz we sold most of it on the 18th (thanks to whoever
bought stuff! love you xoxo) but we will still have our tapes so you

6/19- Yeah...the
show last night kicked ass. a special thanks to UDK, Mavis Beacon, and
The Stompin' Charlies who gave us the show. all the bands were great
and it was an awesome night. we have an upcoming show at "The Summit
Cafe" in Derry NH so be sure to go and support local music. its 5 bucks
and thers gonna be a lot of great bands. -nick
6/13- The Rimmons
have gone through a change. the lineup is still the same but the
singing duties will be spread throughout me (dan), nate, and nick. we
feel this is eaisier and will sound better, with the few practices
doing this we've seen an improvement. on another note we have more
shows for you kids to go to. remember to go to all of our
shows not only to support us but also other local music. also,
merch (pins and stickers) will be ordered after we get enough money.
without jobs its hard. the good side is hopefully at the june 18th show
we will have cassette demos with about 3 songs on it for free or dirt

5/26- a lot of things
have happened... The Rimmons and False Alarm have decided to team up
and do a split cd schedualed for mid-summer release. well, at least me
and matt have. also, for some of our summer shows we will have new
buttons and stickers cuz we are too poor to have shirts and other cool
things other bands have. but the cd's still cool. check back often
because more and more shows will be added. um.... yeah so have a good

5/22- unfortunately because of bad timing on someone's behalf (COUGH DAN
COUGH) we cannot make both shows on the june 18th date so we will
be playing at Club Drifters on June 18th at 8pm...more info to come. in
another note the Charlies show was really good, and we found out about
a show that we are playing on July 5th with a few cool bands so we are
looking forward to that. We will be recording an independant release on
our recording device once we get our mic's and stuff. later

recording wasnt completed. the songs we felt weren't at their best so
we'r trying to get some more recording time. on a better note we are
trying to set up a show at nick/nates church. so far its FALSE

we are recording monday and tuesday (26th & 27th) at our friend
Greg Alberts studio in his basement. we are gonna get 7 or 8 songs done

4/18-
Nick....hey ummm...our show (4/16-Alexander Carr Cafe) went pretty
good. We were up first so no one really stood up but we did pretty good
i think. we missed Room 44 cuz we had to leave early but PR was
amazing. April vacation we should be recording like a 4-5 song EP type
thing on Greg Albert's (PR) 4-track. so we are looking forward to
that...check for new show dates. BOOK US FOR SHOWS!
