2008.05.22 - Updates & CONTEST!!
Hey everyone! It's time for a new update. :D
1) First of all, remember that goal I set up last time? About reaching 200 members and 5,000 posts by the time of R-eal's debut? Well, we did it! We now have 249 members and over 8,000 posts. Because you all are awesome, yes. XD
2) Remember, though! The more R-eal City grows, the more you have to be sure to follow the rules. A number of members have been failing to obey this particular rule: editing posts.
If you see that your warning level is higher than 0%, that's... probably because you haven't been editing your posts. ^^; don't worry, though! It's easy. Just re-read the
General Rules, taking a careful look at Rule #7. And if you're still confused, feel free to ask me or any of the mods. :)
3) Our next layout is coming up! If you'd like to contribute to the color scheme, go to
this post and vote on it now!
4) Many of you may have noticed that you have gained some R-eal money. (Of course, you're probably not as rich as me 8D) So don't forget about the R-eal Market! Visit the subforum to buy or sell whatever goodies you wish -- may it be avatars, b-sets, blinkies, or animations.
5) Okay! It's finally time for our first project/contest.

The main theme of the event is
"Guess who?" The objective is to match each unkown username with each of the 5 members of R-eal.
Basically, the staff have registered 5 separate accounts at R-eal City. We have been trying to act as R-eal! All of the mysterious accounts have already posted numerous times around the forum, each time dropping hints about who they might be.
Your job is to find those usernames and guess which R-eal member they have been acting as.

Finally, I've gotten off my lazy bum and set up a site for R-eal City. XD
There isn't much up yet, but hopefully with some help, it'll become the best fansite for R-eal. Until then, however, have a look around! Just browse through the different areas of the website.

Alright, so I guess it's time for another update.
If you've been hanging around with us for a while, you should have noticed some changes around here. :)
The R-eal Money System!
I hinted it in one of my earlier updates. Now every good thing you do will be rewarded with $$MONEY!! Haha. Not real, money, of course, but R-EAL money. XDD hahahahahahahaha //slapped
There are a ton of ways that you can earn money.
I'm going to start working on the actual items soon, so stay tuned! Or, you can help me out on this too. :) Make avatars/banners/blinkies to sell, and I'll reward you with some $cash$. XD plus, every time someone 'buys' an item that you made, you'll make more money!

-gasp- finally?!? Actually, I'm still not too sure about this. XD Because of Josie's (xxfruitsbasketxx) amazing advice, I've learned that picking staff members is truly important. I've made an application form
