Hi everybody,
Please check this out and if you know someone else who might be interested please pass this along.
Do you have a great story idea? Do you love comix and rock & roll? Are you experienced in sequential storytelling? Do you have a distinct voice?
Well, we're listening.
House of Parlance Media is putting out a call for story pitches from experienced writers to be featured in our series of stories associated with Avril Lavigne. We're interested in publishing our stories in as many ways as possible. Right now our first book Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes, published by Random House, is going to a second printing after just 4 days. It's also available in brief animated episodes available from iTunes, Nettwerk Music Group and YouTube.
We're looking for high quality story ideas featuring strong young female lead characters that will appeal to fans of comics, manga, Avril Lavigne's music and beyond. There's no restrictions on genre - comedy, drama, tragedy, it's all good.
We want good stories that are well told. If you're an experienced sequential storyteller with some good ideas and interest in what we're doing then please send along a small sampling of your work (or links featuring your work) along with a short bio and maybe even a paragraph describing your grand vision to info@houseofparlance.com.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Please check out the blog for more info on the House of Parlance Media.

News Quickie:
*We're going to be at Anime SuperCon on April 13-15, which means we'll not only be selling stuff but also watching the premiere of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie with Dana Snyder, voice of Master Shake--fun!
*I'm going to visit Savannah, GA, this Tuesday to check out my new home come this August.
*My phone is disconnected, thus leaving me without my beloved-yet-flimsy dial-up service.
*If I owe one of your comics a review, don't worry--I'm still alive and you will get the press you requested! Pinky swear!
Now for some stuff:
Adieu.
