Thanks for visiting the all-new QT site, designed for free by the
good folks at Conformance Art Designs.Hopefully this site will be
updated more often than our old one.
The
Quadriplegic Twelve are Brampton Ontario's reponse to the educational
deficit that plagues the pop music of present day Earth. Thus the
Quadriplegic Twelve were christened as Earthly liberators with a
prime directive to countervate musical mursenaries and to bring
learning, fun, participation, and jubilance to audiences all over
the world, but mainly Canada. With an arsenal of noisemakers, a stable
of catchy pop-rockettes and 'FUN!!' as their battlecry, the Quadriplegic
Twelve will circumvent all authoritative bodies to battle the forces
of boredom. Heed to their moto, 'to learn is to earn, because
knowledge is power', and maybe you too can join the ranks of
this elite team.
(January
15, 2006) 2006, early reports indicate that this is in fact in the
year of the Quad.
After
innumerable months of idle, the Q12 site has recieved an
update. The blame can be distributed propotionally between laziness
and the public's preference for Myspace. So we've taken to update
that more then this site. So be sure to view it more often. QT
Myspace Profile
We
have a show at our beloved Brampton Heritage Theatre on Friday,
January 27th at 7pm.
This
will be the final night of tapings for the first season of the
Friendly Rich show and will also feature the Haymakers,
of Orangeville Ontario. The cost of admission is $6 and all proceeds
will be returned to the artists.
Our
forth consecutive appearance at the annual Brampton
Indie Arts Festival has been booked and we couldn't
be happier about. After making the headliners look bad at last year's
show, we've been moved from the theatre to the adjacent Beaux-Arts
gallery. Not only does this performance bring together,
that is if you've been reading your Adorno, the diametrically opposed
spheres of high and low art, it gives us a whopping thirty-minutes
of playing time. Which is double what the main stage acts are getting
this year. Also
playing with us at Beaux-Arts, and making her second BIAF appearnace,
is the always foxy Kat Burns!
Adam
has a new solo album coming out on Weener Records under the name
Kisses Blown Over the Phone. So please visit his
site at http://www.myspace.com/kbotp
for MP3s and show info.
Our
photo album has been updated with lots of brand new and 'retro'
pictures. Click
here to see it, or visit the Media section.
