Why was it created?
Because many other sites I knew began to make their own awards site, many said it was fun so I decided to try it out myself! So far it's been fun I got to experiment with different layouts instead of playing it safe like I do on my other site...hehe

I own two sites: theprelude.piczo.com (this one), and thebeautifulsimplicity.piczo.com. Thebeautifulsimplicity is the first site that I created feel free to visit it. It started sometimes back late December `05. As I mentioned earlier this site theprelude.piczo.com started in August `06.
Domain
You may wonder why I called this site theprelude... well when I came with the concept of this site I though of my favourite piano composer (Chopin) I don't know why and the word prelude just popped into my head a song called raindrop prelude actually...lol...so it was based on that. I have of persuing this site to becoming, Eventually, a full fledged activity site based on awards, so maybe in the future I may add layout challenges, Icon challenges, and other activities.!
