There are four things that are to mysterious for me to understand:
 
 an eagle flying in the sky
 a snake moving on a rock
   a ship finding its way over the sea,
     and a man and a woman falling in love.                        

 TODAY AND TOMORROW

Today I will stop to smell the fragrances around me, even it just be dish washing soap or fabric softener.

Today I will feel the wind on my face as I walk to or from my car.

Today I will see the buds opening on the branches of the trees above me.

Today I will hear the birds singing above the morning traffic.

Today I will taste the sweetness in the juices of my morning fruit.

Today I will thank all those that have taken the time to say hello or smile at me.

Today I will take the time to help those that are in need.

Today I will embrace the love that I have been blessed to have in my life.

Today I will take the time to show all those in my life that I hold dear, how much they mean to me.

Today I will say I LOVE YOU,not only by speaking it,but by feeling it as I do....... "I LOVE YOU!"

TOMORROW, I WILL DO IT ALL AGAIN!

Majestic Borderland
There is a Majestic borderland that lies just past the limits of our workday world. It is peopled with the friends we met and loved a year, a month, a week or day, and parted from with aching hearts, yet knew that through the distance we must loose the hold of hand with hand, and only clasp the thread of memory. But still so close we feel the hand, so sure we are, that these same hearts are true. That when in waking dreams there comes a call that sets the thread of memory aglow, We know that by the stretching out of hand in written word of love, or book or flower, the waiting hand will clasp our own once more. Across the distance, in the same old way.

  There are many things in my life that I  treasure....
1. My children. There is no greater gift. My life is complete because of them.
2. My Mom...She is like no other. She is my guiding light and my strength.
3. My sister Carol (catylina71)...She is my best friend and my hero.
4. My brother... although far away is a true blessing in my life.

Friendship
None of that Sissy Crap
Are you tired of those sissy "friendship" poems that always sound good,
But never actually come close to reality?
Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship.
You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this card-
Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.
1. When you are sad -- I will help and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
 
2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
 
3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.
 
4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.
 
5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much Worse it could be until you quit whining.
 
6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.
 
7. When you are sick -- Stay away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever shit you have.
 
8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.
 
9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end. "Why?" you may ask;
"because you are my friend".
 
Friendship is like peeing your pants,
