4th Top Kennel 2009 - West of England Border Collie Club.

My Affix: Pepperbox

Shortly before my 11th birthday my mother gave me a blenheim cavalier king charles spaniel puppy; Clopsville Busy Bea who I named Poppy.  When I began to look for an affix I looked at seed catalogues and read through the various varieties and colours of poppy seeds; in this way each dog carrying my Pepperbox affix does so in honour of Poppy.  I picked out the word Pepperbox, and the affix was granted to my by the UK Kennel Club in November 2004.

About Me:

I am currently located in the South West and share my life with my cocker spaniels and border collies.  First and foremost they are my companions, but I also enjoy training them and competing with them in a variety of dog sports and activities.  I have judged obedience and junior handling at both companion and open show level.

My application to The Cocker Spaniel Club was accepted in 2006 ( http://www.thecockerspanielclub.co.uk/ ), and I am also a member of the Border Collie Club of Great Britain ( http://www.bordercollieclub.com/ ) , along with my regional breed club and several dog sport clubs and associations.  I was co-opted onto the West of England Border Collie Club committee in 2012, and this position was approved at the AGM in February 2013 (http://www.west-of-england-border-collie-club.org). I was a member of the Young Kennel Club between 2004 and 2007.
