A short stroll from the West Entrance to the Long Sault Parkway, we specialize in live bait and tackle, but we are more than minnows, worms and leeches ... we have camping supplies for the whole family, as well as dry firewood, ice, propane exchange, groceries, unique items like "Slap Ya Mama" cajun seasoning direct from Louisiana for your catch of the day, Lake of the Woods all natural insect repellent, citronella candles to light up your night, boating supplies and our famous green worms ... fish find them irresistible! Don't worry about leaving home without your fishing rod or your sleeping bag ... we've got you covered ... or anything else you might forget or run out of on your vacation.

We have lots of DRY campfire wood, ice, live bait and camping supplies. The rain is not dampening our customers spirits ... we have had reports of pickerel being caught at 80 ft in the river and a 27 pound pike was caught fishing from the bank at the Bird Sanctuary the last week of July Special Visit - July 7th - The Honourable Donna Cansfield, Minister of Natural Resources visited The Parkway Outpost on Tuesday, July 7 th at which time we were able to thank her and our MPP Jim Brownell in person for the assistance they provided in helping our small business obtain the authority to issue fish & wildlife licences. Also present was CFIB (Canadian Federation of Independent Business) representative for Cornwall & area, Michael Paquette. CFIB was instrumental in recognizing how vital it is for a small bait & tackle shop to provide this service in a tourism based area and then advocating on our behalf at Queen's Park. Judith Andrew, Vice President of CFIB Ontario, worked tirelessly on our behalf: campaigning, letter-writing and providing strategies for success. Also a big thank you to all our customers who signed the in-store petition to show their support.
Also discussed: Several issues of importance concerning the waterfront conservation and heritage preservation of this region of the St. Lawrence were also discussed between the Mayor of South Stormont Bryan McGillis, the Member of Provincial Parliament Jim Brownell and Minister Donna Cansfield.
We urge any individuals who have an opinion regarding the parks management, Upper Canada Village management, or any other natural resources issue (catch & possession limits, stewardship programs, etc) to contact our government representatives (see links page). ... Take Exit 770 from Hwy 401, south to County Rd 2, left/east for 1 km, turn left at Colonial Drive ... we are 2 doors down on the right.
... Drive 24 km West of Cornwall on County Road 2 ... or... 15 km East of Morrisburg, Crysler Marina & Upper Canada Village on County Road 2
... If you're camping at Long Sault Parkway, St. Lawrence Parks Commission, drive, walk or bike to the West Gate and head directly across County Rd 2 to Colonial Drive.
