Intrested in becoming part of The New Underground community? Well look no further! Your welcome to try your hand! Oh and please read the WHOLE page if your even remotly intrested. Don't want you to miss any information...
Step 1. Notify Hawk if you wanna make your own TNU site! E-mail him at gldhawk51@cox.net or AIM him at Scourge Hawk.
Step 2. After Hawk has replied to you. Check the affiliates section to see what TNU's are taken. If the game/movie/TV show (possibly even music if you can get enough information) series isn't on there as a TNU it means it is avaliable for you to make. Notify Hawk what you wanna make your site on! Example: If you want to make a Motal Kombat site tell Hawk. It would be called TNMKU (The New Mortal Kombat Underground)
Step 3. Choose a site editor or hoster, depending on your prefrence. Then start the new TNU site by making a home page!
Step 4. Make a banner! To officialy join TNU community you'll need a banner for the links page! Once this is made send Hawk your banner and a link to the site. Congratulations, you are now officialy part of TNU community.
Step 5. Make a forums! I recomend http://invisionfree.com/ it's easy to use and we can help you out with that if you don't know how.
Step 6. Start adding content your page if you haven't already. You can make your site anyway you want. Write it all yourself or find info from aroudn the net. Just make sure if it's the latter you make sure you don't claim that you wrote it.
Step 7. Promote your site when you think it's good enough to be cast out there in the general public!
Why join TNU community? Well you get benifits from being part of the TNU community. First benifit would be you get help finding pictures content and what you need for your site if we can find them. You'll also get the help of any other TNU members willing to help you. Another benfit? If you don't know how to run your forums properly you can get help with that. Depending on how well your site does in the community you may even gain a little financing... now I'm not rich here but maybe I can pay for a little. If you can get someone to sponser your site or donations, even better! I can't afford everything I seriously don't have that much money. Also we will do our best to help you with anything you need for your site. Nothing is a sure bet, but I am always willing to help if I can. We have very few requirments. One is you take on The New (insert show/band/game/movie name here) Undeground name. Two is if you need alot of help on your site (more then just verbal instruction) I will need the login information for your editor/hoster. I will not make any changes with out your consent. Remember, you own the site! Not me. I'm just here to give you assitance and a common page to put your link on. If at anytime you can't continue running your site or feel you have to stop DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHUT IT DOWN! (if your paying for something for it you may stop that) If you have to stop running the site, give me your login information for the editor/host (if you haven't already) and I will find NEW managment for your site. I don't want any of our sites to have to close. If you follow these simple guidelines we welcome you into our community and hope you stay for a long time. I hope you decide to join us! The more the merrier. Oh and one final thing. Anystaff of any of the sites, possibly forums will gain acknowledgment on a TNU home page (once I get it made). If you feel up to it, you can even run and own multiple TNU sites! So hope to hear from you soon!!
Edit: You can do comics/books as well depending on the info and pics you can acquire.
