We call them fluffy butts!  We are raising fourteen beautiful birds!  Here are a few pics of them  :)

I'm not sure what her color would be called but this is Little Bit.  She was a spraddle leg chick when we first bought her.  I treated her and she is better now.  Here she had just finished drinking and her pouf on her head was doused. She is my tiniest hen.

This young red hen  was about three months old in this pic.  It was so funny to see her as a newborn chick.  She could hardly keep her little head up from the enormous crest on her head!  In the next pic she is the one hen on the bottom left.  I call her Ginger.

Yet another big Silkie pile up :))  One of the little black roosters will buck up to me and peck at my hands just like a regular size rooster.  He is so adorable!  Silkie Roosters really go all out with their hens and protect them from what they perceive as harm! They all chase the bigger roosters away from their backyard!
