Composer/s |
A composer leads in the making of the music so to speak. You know that guy who is always conducting the orchestras? That's the same job!
Music/Score Composition |
For Music and Score Composition, you'll have one or two jobs, depending on what you want. You can either/both do: A) Play an instrument B) Edit the "already made" music.
Media Distribution |
Basically you spread news of this club, and assist in the posting of videos.
Writer |
This is one of the most important jobs, which WILL require time unless you can come up with an entire storyline AND write it out in a mere few minutes. I myself have this job, both in reality and on this club.
Screenplay |
You take the writer's story or manuscript and turn it into an actual script, along with what's occurring during each scene of the movie.
Example:
Tatoranaki: Watch out!
*Jumps off building and lands on a vat of pillows.
Tatoranaki: I thought I was a goner there.
*Let's out a sigh of relief and wipes himself off, feathers scattering everywhere.
Set Design |
Alright, set design is basically Arts and Crafts. Have you ever made a diorama? Well, you'll be doing quite a few of those. Moreover, if you have the materials, some clay figures for the characters. You can also use a computer to develop sets or characters, digitalized graphics in other words.
Main Director/s |
That's my main job. I instruct the club on what they need to do.
Producer/s |
As stated from Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia: Article- Movie Producer
A film producer is a person who creates the conditions for making movies. The producer initiates, coordinates, supervises and controls matters such as fundraising, hiring key personnel, and arranging for distributors. The producer is involved throughout all phases of the filmmaking process from development to completion of a project.
Very much correct!
The producer is quite important; they're like the Director's right-hand. They make everything the director wants for the movie, possible; therefore, you'll be working with me A LOT.
Site Coordinator/s |
You'll be my right-hand guy/girl when working on this site. If there is some news I thought of that I don't have time myself, or if there's a few things I have listed down for site coordinator's that will be your job!
Sound FX Coordinator/s |
Original Sounds ONLY! There are sounds everywhere. In nature, at your home, virtually everywhere but space! Whether it's your cat or dog making noise, or the sound of you walking down a hallway, you can record these all and they may very well fit into the movies! Sound FX Coordinators will work on recording sounds, and making them comprehendible so people know what they're listening to. They can also have multiple meanings like the sounds of beads clashing together to add to the sound of roaring waves!
Filming |
Good with a camera? Ever made a video clip before? Then this job is for you!
All you have to do is take some video clips (that you yourself recorded, not an original work), upload it, and send it to myself or another director.
Animation |
Another very important job to the Movie Club. If you have something as simple as Windows Movie Maker, you are off to a good start. Animators animate or "give things movement."
Example:
Ever seen a cartoon before? That's considered "Animated".
Animators may have fair amount of work, opposed to the lower amounts of other jobs. Especially is you're working Frame-by-Frame.
Photography |
You'll need to be good at taking pictures, if you've taken any photography courses or lessons please tell me, so I know who to give the "vital" projects to. As a photographer, you'll basically take specific photos that I or another director in your district requests of you, or if you think, there's something that will be useful for the movie.
Editorial |
Editorial can be broken up into various parts, only some of which I will list.
There's Animation Editorial, they edit and perfect the "animation stage" of the movie.
There's Writing/Screen-play Editorial, they need fairly good knowledge in Grammar and Spelling or a really good Spell-check.
Set Design |
Basically the arts and crafts of the movie. You'll be working on some limited props, and work on some stages for the movie. Perhaps a few dioramas and backgrounds.
Artistic Digital Media and Design |
Very much like Set Design in some ways, except you'll be working with computers. Are you good with computer graphics? You'll need to be for this job. You may have to create a few backgrounds, develop some characters, etc. All on a computer.
Recruit Management |
This is one of the jobs I give people before they can become a director. Basically you get people to join the Movie Club and answer any questions they might have, if you don't have the answer just ask me or another director.
Art Director |
You're in charge of the art group. You give them the deadlines, you tell them what to do, and you make sure everything runs smoothly. You can also do some drawings yourself. In a nutshell, you're in charge. You'll need to keep track of all completed and successful projects and frequently report back to me.
Performance Director |
You'll be working with the actors more than anyone (other than myself perhaps).
You'll need to keep track of all completed/successful projects and frequently report back to me. Make sure the actors know what to do, and answer any questions they may have. Like all other directors, you're in charge, but that doesn't give you free rein to do whatever you want. "There's always a bigger fish." In the wise words of George Lucas's character Qui-Gon Ginn.
Animation Director |
You'll be overseeing all of the animation projects undertaken by your group/s. You'll need to keep track of all completed and successful projects and frequently report back to me.
