It was a cold night in 1879.
Later, in summer of 1897, when the Rat Trap turned into a family restaurant,
Sweet & kind beyond all reason, Auburn Patterson has the biggest heart you’ll find at the Rat Trap, fawning over little babies & playing around with the children who go to his restaurant. There is not a moment in time that you will see
Despite his short temper & easily-irritated disposition, however, the irksome knight in shining armor that is Auburn still tries his best to be courteous, polite, & a good neighbor to all. This two-faced character usually proves himself to be jolly & gay, with a good sense of humor to boot; however, like any sensible mouse, he does not care for prank phone calls, especially the many that are directed at him. One of the most-loved qualities about Auburn, of course, is his great intelligence, considering his aforementioned good grades & acceptance into Oxford. He often uses his brains to teach his friends valuable lessons, tell children interesting tidbits, & even give his beloved Evelyn an education.
Despite his shortcomings, Auburn Patterson is a friendly mouse, & may be approached without caution.
