Archibald Jamison was born Oswald Voletaire to a retired French painter (Angela Voletaire, who passed on her surname to him) & a Hebrew merchant (Hezekiah Finn) in the predominantly-Jewish district of Whitechapel (located in the East End of Mouse London) on
However, as the years went by, Archibald began to change with each moment he worked at the palace. He become disillusioned with dreams that he would live a life he had always wanted to live—& the only way to make those dreams reality was to become king of all mousedom! But just how to do it? After many unsuccessful attempts at getting Queen Mousetoria off the throne, Archibald, now a truly-insane shrew, decided to get a young Professor Ratigan to do the job for him, teaming up with his recent associate Mouses Fiennes to fill the boy’s head with thoughts that he would be given the ultimate birthday present by dethroning Queen Mousetoria! However, when that idea failed, Archibald went back to his original methods of deposing his much-hated ruler, which he continues to carry out to this day, all the while forming a sweet, loving façade towards the Queen.
No longer a good soul, Archibald has turned bitter & selfish, not giving a drat about anything or anyone but himself. He is a wicked, conniving spider, putting on a harmless face just to lure Queen Mousetoria into his web of vice, hatred, & deceit. Archibald has also become extremely sexist, turning to the ancient attitudes of his ancestors that “a woman has no place on the throne”.
