BIO: Apollo Karlatos was born to Agape Karlatos & Elias (both farmers) in
In 1899, shortly after teaming up with the notorious gigolo / song-stealing mousician Slick Willie, Apollo began to work as a double agent for him & Princess, whom he soon started falling in love with. After a few escapades, Apollo married Princess in summer of that year. To this day, Apollo can be found working in his wife’s band as a back-up dancer & singer.
Apollo Karlatos is proud of his skills, ever willing to show off his singing & dancing talents to the world. Sweet-natured & good-hearted, Apollo shares many qualities with Princess, personality- & mind-wise. One thing that sets him apart from his beloved wife, however, is that Apollo is extremely gullible & can be manipulated easily. Possessing the innocent qualities of a young child, Apollo tends to poke his nose in places where it shouldn’t be, but luckily, his wife & friends are always there to help him out of a scrape. Apollo is also kind & gentle, with the heart of a noble knight & the determination to make the world a better place (in more ways than one).
Despite his shortcomings, Apollo Karlatos is a decent mouse, & may be approached without caution.
Although my character Apollo is based upon that of Apollonia Kotero (pictured left) in “Purple Rain”, his name & musical personality came from the Greek god Apollo (pictured center). Olga Karlatos (pictured right), who coincidentally plays the Kid’s mom in the aforementioned movie, lent Apollo his last name.
