The regimental 'campaign' season lasts from early Spring to the
Winter. This year we have the following scheduled events which are a
mixture of training, public displays, a pilgrimage to the battlefields of
the Western Front and ceremonial parades.

The Birmingham Pals have invited us to the opening of an original Great War
barrack hut for a weekend of living history.

Festival
of History, Kelmarsh Hall.
Once again we will be co-ordinating the infantry in the Great War element
of English Heritage's annual flagship event. This year is going to include
a replica British tank among the First World war displays. The Manchesters
will establish a period training camp and put on displays in the central
arena to massed crowds.

Plans have yet to be confirmed as to how we will mark the day this year (our
14th anniversary). It has been suggested that we hold the AGM at this time
rather than wait until Christmas.

The 2008 annual pilgrimage will be to the battlefields of the Hindenburg

year we have been invited to parade in Bolton.
