Volunteer: We believe that more voices and collective actions can create innovative and positive strides towards our commitments in fostering this cause. Your time, skills, and ideas will help change the lives of many Liberian youths who still suffer the aftermath of the fourteen years civil war. There are many ways you can volunteer:
Researching and writing grants and fundraising projects.
Assisting with budgeting, and advertisement.
Assisting with media relations, networking, and preparing newsletters for distribution to our donors and community at large.
Spreading the word and reaching those who believe in our cause to assist in our journey.
Plan an Event: Imagine if we all could plan an event, what do you think will happen? Many things! Planning an event will be of great benefit to our tasks ahead. There are many examples of events that you could plan to raise awareness for the organization and rally support:
Sports tournament: soccer, marathon, tennis, track, table tennis, scrabble, chess, and many others. Sport events can encourage social conversation, equality, and cultural differences.
Fundraising: organize a fundraising dinner or event and spread the word about the change that the Liberian Youth Coalition and its supporters can make.
Organize a pizza party or prepare your traditional dishes and invite friends and supports to discuss and support the issues affecting Liberian youths.
