Go to http://www.djdan.am and then to the podcast section.  click 6/01 to be taken to letyourcompassguideyou.  Click the 108 position on the compass like before.  You'll notice a difference...  the compass now splits into a pie chart type thing.  When the login box comes up, it now asks if you believe.  type y, of course.

New clues galore!  Click on Active Projects, then World Wide something or other.  Click Press Release, and then the word miracle.

 

Enter HEAVY WATER as your password.  Supposedly, someone found d20 hidden in the hole3 picture, so thus heavy water.

 

Crazy stuff here.  Persephone says "Free hospitals for the third world?  Wow!  That's nifty...  Ever wonder what the foundation does at these hospitals?"

 

Click, then you go to a list of icons headed with THE CAPE TOWN INQUISITOR.  Use the little dials to scroll around to find the pages with information on it. 

Holy...  The Hanso Foundation is using these hospitals to harvest organs from people.  Remember?  Missing Organs... 

Hmm.  Cape Town Inquisitor now says A HANSO GROUP PUBLICATION.

AAAH!  On the page with Joop, click on the phone.   You'll hear a phone interview with Persephone and the guy who USED to own the Cape Town Inquisitor.  He says the hanso foundation bought his paper to cover up the story of the missing organs.

Persephone's new clue says +1.  Since her last one was 2, we figured we'd check out http://hole3.thehansofoundation.org.  Lo! and behold, it works.  But... we can't see the image.  If you right click on it and click VIEW IMAGE, you get that the URL is actually http://hole3.thehansofoundation.org/t9agen75.gif.  t9agen75 is reminiscent of the file name of Mr. Faceless Doctor, which translated to Alvar Hanso Last Seen 2002.  I need to wait for Ryan/Reol to translate this new one for me, because I'm not sure how he did it.

The Speaker at http://www.insidetheexperience.com says if we can't see the picture, be patient.  It will turn up eventually.  That's ABC's official guide, by the way.

Ok, folks, it's time for a new round of clues.  First off, we have the Mathematical Forecasting Initiative Update.  Click the little circular map icon to be taken to the map. 

Clicking on the little icons reveals info about different countries.  There's a hidden one between China and Mongolia that says (in mirror writing) "She was an employee of the foundation".  The theory is that they're talking about Persephone.

You'll notice some of them have blanks.  Fill in the missing numbers and press ENTER.

Ok, after looking at everything I'd have to guess this is still in-game... we got DJ Dan's newest podcast, so they're probably trying to throw people off by hiding it on a sprite ad page. most of the stuff is useless (not to mention quite disturbing in the case of the lymonatrix...) but the podcast was worth it.

Next to the RSS link on http://thehansofoundation.org, there is a link that says CAREERS.  Click it to be taken to www.hansocareers.com, which is a site powered by monster.com that has fake job opportunities for the Hanso Foundation.  It also gives an email address (info@thehansofoundation.org), which hasn't produced any replies as of yet.

Under "Personal Assistant", it suggests that the applicant should have a PhD in various subjects, one of which is Lacanian psychology. In Lacan's work, there is a concept of "The Other"... Hrm.

What does an organ courier need to know French, German, Russian, Chinese, and martial arts for?

The Art Therapist/ Psychologist requires "a working knowledge of applied mathematics. Extensive background checks, periodic drug testing and a lifetime non-disclosure agreement". That seems off to me, as well...

The Simian Vet job is said to be "eco- friendly", but what's this about "Current or past membership in organizations such as the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Amnesty International, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or any advocacy group dealing with environmental or animal-rights issues will disqualify any and all prospective applicants"?

You'll notice that some of the letters are grey.  If you write these down and unscramble them, you get "inmate asylum".  Follow any of the hidden links on the job descriptions (found by pressing TAB until something lights up that you can't see), go to BOARD OF DIRECTORS, and type "inmate asylum" as your password.  You get to see all kinds of crazy things about two Hanso officials who are crooks.  Here's a transcript of what persephone says.

Lawrence Peck was sentenced to 8 years for insider trading. Which he subsidized through a retirement fund for a health care union. And as if stealing money from nurses wasn’t enough. He also got 2 years for perjury and obstruction of justice

Check Vanderfield out: he was sentenced to four years for taking bribes from a Chinese cigarette smuggling syndicate.

But just a couple months later…

Vanderfield wound up serving only 6 months in a federal country club…Maybe Peter Thompson was his attorney?

Peter Thompson was on the case and Peck got off with 18 months in a federal minimum security facility.

on the bottom of the circle, there are some numbers and letters that are the same string of characters found on all Dharma Initiative food.

3rd Clue: The File System

click 108 on the compass, then enter "Y" when it asks if you're one of the good ones.  You'll be taken to a list of Hanso File Systems.  The only ones that work are hmcintyr and pthompso .  Go to MAIL in each one to be taken to a bunch of different things.

When these numbers are translated into ASCII characters, had a ROT13 shift applied to them, and a number cipher on the decoded numerical characters, you came up with the message: Log in at THF.org (short for the Hanso Foundation) May 8 This is safe for now

These translate to HAS WIN HOST PC IN NIL URGE. 8, not 1 and 6. Many anagrams have been deciphered from the text (no ROT13 or number ciphers this time), but its purpose seemed to be reinforcing that the day to log in was May 8 (it was misinterpreted to be May 1 or May 6).

3rd Clue: New code

The new code translates to "Standby"

4th Clue: Different Numbers

This set didn't use the Ascii way of translating.

Persephone released another code that does not work on ASCII, like the others so far. maybelost decoded it into a seemingly random sequence of letters, and webmaster found an anagram: a mouse does not rely on just one hole, which was found in latin on the blast door map from "lockdown"

5th Clue: one number

Persephone posted the number 2 up on her site. In her previous post, she said that a mouse does not just rely on ONE hole. Therefore: http://hole2.thehansofoundation.org. It has an image of a man, can't see his face.

Persephone now says 2.  We figure, since she was talking about holes, we'd try http://hole2.thehansofoundation.org .  And it works!  You get this...

 

 

Dr. Candle?  We think so...  The top of his head/ hair looks like it says I M DR+.  Whatever that means.  We'll keep you updated!

First Clue: Newsletter

The first clue on the website was the Hanso Newsletter. While signing up, Persephone (a hacker) interupts and asks if you can understand her. When you answer, she asks for a password, which is "Breaking Strain".

Second Clue: Joop

Send Joop a message in Joop's Corner and you will be thrust into a maze where you connect the dots. Once that is finished, you will find two letters.

Third Clue: Press Relese

The Hanso Foundation put out a press release stating that Persephone has been delt with. But she was still found on the website with a new web address: persephone.thehansofoundation.org (there are no w's for a reason. you don't need them)

Fourth Clue: Date

In the Executive Bio's section, under Alvar Hanso's name, there was a picture of him with a date underlined benieth his picture. Click on it and Persephone breaks in again. She said that he hadn't been seen since 2002, even though the picture was dated 2003. Then there was some morse code translated into S-A-F-E-R.

Fifth Clue: Newspaper Ads

Many major newspapers released an ad saying that Gary Troup's Bad Twin is lying about the Hanso Foundation.

Sixth Clue: Thomas Werner Mittelwerk's bio page

When clicking on Thomas's bio page, a text field appears when the page opens. You need a code, which is found every 15 minutes past the hour. When that time arrives, the hanso clock switches to OB:EY. Click on it. It will take you to www.subLYMONal.com that has 6 TV's on it. Click the first TV 4 times, the second 8, etc., until all the TV's have been clicked on. It then takes you to the page the has the words "Heir Apparent". Enter this into the box on Thomas's page and you will get some info from Persephone.

Seventh Clue: News Release

Shows the ad for Bad Twin.

Eigth Clue: New website

In the website's source code, the website  www.djdan.am is shown. This is a site for DJ Dan, who is supposedly Lost producer Javier Grillo-Marxhuach wearing sunglasses. There is a short podcast explaining that Alvar has been chryogenically frozen. The next podcast is supposed to be on May 26.

Ninth Clue: Hugh McIntyre's Bio

His picture has been replaced by a "?" and a text box has shown up. You will need to find the code to enter. Go to the Electromagnetic Research page and you notice that the date has changed to October 62, 9291. find the (x,y) coordinate at the top of the page and use the new date to help you find the point. Move your cursor around until it lands on 629, 291. Click on that spot and you will be taken to www.letyourcompassguideyou.com . Click in the SE part of the compass until you click on 108. This contains the mailboxes for Peter Thompson and Hugh McIntyre. On a jeep poster in Hugh's site, you see the words "the mouth piece" are shown. These are the words that you enter into the text box on Hugh's bio. (no spaces between the words)   

Tenth Clue: Peter Thompson's Bio

His bio has now changed. You see the words SURVIVORGUILT flash across his picture. Enter this into the invisible text box below his picture. Click enter and three tabs show up on the screen. click each of them to get different information on court cases and research ideas.

Eleventh Clue: World Wellness and Development

In the World Wellness and Development section of the site, on the world map there is a hidden icon near Bermuda. It has some nonsense characters and a series of numbers. When translated with a letter substitution (A=1, B=2...Z=26), they read: Missing Organs.

In the Press Release on the Wellness section, the word "miracle" appears to be clickable, but has nothing at it so far.

12th Clue: Joop's Corner

In the Joop's Corner section, right next to Joops hand (where he is hanging on the left side of the page) is a text entry field, with no known purpose so far.

 

Lookee here, ladies and gentlemen.  We have found "THE MOUTHPIECE" to be a code at thehansofoundation.org in multiple places, including the jeep paper advertisement and encoded in the binary in a Peter Thompson email.  Well, now theLOSTexperience: A Fan Guide has found it in another place! This is the end of a jeep commercial linked by http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pna5kuVZDXE.  This picture appears at the end.

 

If you look closely, you can see the words say ECHO ME UTEP HIT.  This rearranges to spell THE MOUTHPIECE.  (Thanks, Ryan!)

Check this out!  Javi created a wikipedia entry for the Valenzetti Equation, which was later deleted because it's not true.  However, LostPedia saved it.

That's got the original text from the valenzetti entry on wikipedia.  As any true LostFan knows, Gary Troup once wrote a book called The Valenzetti Equation, which is now out-of-print.  Also, Valenzetti was mentioned on Locke's Blast Door Map.
