After an electrical accident, a vivid story begins to play itself out inside Alyssa Whitman’s head. It’s great material for her Creative Writing class, so she begins to write it down.  The story comes at her so fast, however, she can hardly keep up.  It’s about a warlock who kidnaps a young woman.  The woman is special…she’s an individual called a link, capable of magical power far more powerful than the ordinary witch or warlock.  In Alyssa’s book the warlock, Zor, explains to the link, Katrine, that she possesses her magical power only when someone in her future, a woman with Katrine’s reincarnated soul, thinks of her…links to her.  Zor deceives Katrine – tricks her into making him more powerful so that he can turn his mortal brother into a warlock.  He also becomes powerful enough to rid himself of Adrian, his jealous girlfriend from a powerful warlock family.  Zor has now got new interests; he’s traveled to the future and has fallen in love with Katrine’s reincarnated soul.

Then one day, Alyssa’s new boyfriend, John, breaks the news:  he’s Zor.  The story she’s writing for Creative Writing class is not fiction; it’s a journal of what she witnesses through Katrine’s eyes.  Alyssa possesses Katrine’s reincarnated soul and now Adrian’s father, Master Damen Rattimor, and Adrian’s mortal brother, Rehnquist, are after her, believing she is partly responsible for Adrian’s disappearance.

In Seven Days of Cyan Alyssa struggles to keep her grasp on reality as she writes about Katrine and her experiences.  When Adrian’s brother takes her hostage in her dorm room and threatens her friends, she’s forced to accept the fact that recent hallucinations really happened, and that she must fight against more powerful beings to stop her friends, Katrine, and herself from falling victim to Master Rattimor’s wrath.

In Razor’s Box, the sequel to Seven Days of Cyan, the late Master Rattimor’s apprentice, Razor, is desperate to open a small box and retrieve what is inside.  The only key to the box, however, is a modified brain cell that only Master Rattimor knew how to recreate.  Through an elaborate plan, Razor uses Alyssa and Katrine to obtain the former Master Rattimor’s psyche and direct it into the brain of an unwilling host, Rehnquist. When the hybrid of Master Rattimor and Rehnquist refuses to help Razor open the box, strange alliances are made between enemies, and important friendships are made that save Katrine and Razor from certain death.

In Saber’s Edge, Zor mysteriously breaks off his relationship with Alyssa before their wedding.  Believing that it has something to do with Justin Bellevue, Zor’s evil reincarnated soul, she travels forward in time to try to improve Justin’s life.  When she becomes trapped in his time period, she comes to understand who Justin Bellevue really is and why Zor broke off the wedding.  A tragic ending filled with sacrifice results in a conclusion that will leave the reader both satisified and thirsting for more.  But alas, the trilogy has ended.
