The Kuntists

The Kreative Union of Neo-aesthetic Terrorists were born out of ennui and frustration for many aspects of the art world.  They have become infamous for showing a blatant disregard and disrespect for conformity within artistic circles.  Devoted celebrity and media whores they have trashed more of their own shows and art then Hendrix or Townsend have guitars.

Inventors of new genres like Kleptomaniart (the art of theft and appropriation as and for art) and Garage Art (referring to 60’s Garage Punk music, raw powerful and passionate and discribing their studios) to define their often disturbing work, they are determined not to be categorised and use a diverse range of materials and media to explore the best processes needed to convey the inherent message.

To date they have produced drawing, sculpture and painting shows, run their own gallery/emporium stall,  edit their own fanzine, written a short novel, directed a short film, given birth to the Whoodoo Dolls, have designed a clothing and jewellery range and have recently formed The Kuntists music experiment.

They have shown and sold around the globe and exhibited alongside Gilbert and George, Tim Noble, Sadie Frost, Stewart Semple, Sir Peter Blake and Gavin Turk to name a few

Whatever the medium and whatever the message their art spits in your face, punches you in the stomach then nicks your wallet while you puke on your shoes!!!!!!!!
