What's the deal with the text formatting in certain areas?
-Whenever a demon is speaking, their text is right-aligned and the margins are set differently to give the reader a sense of wrongness to the text.
Why is speech in brackets in some instances?
-If the text is in brackets, it shows that the speakers are speaking a different language and is used instead of quotation marks.
Shouldn't all proper nouns be capitalized? Many of them are not.
-The names of some goblins start with lower case letters, their grammatical rules are different. In other cases, the names of demons are always left in lower case because they are not worthy of respect; conversely, their names are written in all caps when spoken to directly.
Do the names in TKR mean anything special?
-Some of the names have special meanings, but many of them are simple invented; many of the names with significant meanings were taken from the ancient Hebrew and Greek languages. The demonic names and their meanings are written in the appendices.
Why does everyone speak English in the Kakos Realm?
-Only Kevin speaks english. All other humans speak the language that was spoken by man before the division at the tower of Babel. The other ekthro races have their own language, but know the tongue of man as well. Kevin understands them and can speak to them through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Are any of the characters based on you or someone you know?
-Certain aspects of some characters reflect parts of myself, but none are solely based on anyone. Each character is a unique individual, and we may share a few things in common. The female characters Kelsa and Ly'Orra (TKR2) are loosely based on actual women that I know.
I noticed that the demon meh'-red, the previous leader of the Gathering is not noted in the lexicon with a type of sin. What term is his named derrived from?
-meh'-red is another Hebrew word for "rebellion"
When is the sequel coming out?
-TKR book 2 has started work and is tentatively titled "TKR: Karoz Discovery". I had originall hoped to complete it by the end of 2007. I am now shooting for completion at the end of 2008; this is due to a couple other projects I am involved in such as a graphic novel, my Christian rock band, real life, and an ongoing attempt to break in with a larger publisher that has a better distribution base.
